Making mods is really difficult but if I can make one it shouldn't be to hard. In this tutorial ou will need to download stuff so if you don't want to then don't bother reading this.

1. First you will need to download MCreator, MCforge ad magic launcher (optional)

2. Next you need to open mc creator ad click on new mod.

3. Now name your mod like (futuristic craft) if your making a futuristic
mod.

4. Now click each face for the texture. you will be presented with a selection box to chose the texture for each face, select it, click select. Then click next.

5.  Now you select how hard your block is, does it give off light, preferred mining tool, sound on step, has gravity (like sand/gravel), provides redstone power, what it drops, etc. Go wild with it, and when you are done, click next.

6. Now you have to choose the inner workings of the block. What does it do when placed? Updated? Destroyed? Every tick? Play with it, then click next.

7. Next Click the place in the crafting 'square' where the desired material will go to craft or smelt the block and you will be presented with a dialog box giving you a choice of blocks to put here. I chose sponge, or in java, Block.sponge. When you are done, click next.

8. Then Click finish. Wait for it to compile. You will be taken to the main screen, where you click Projects. Click on it, and exprot it to a zip file. browse to the place of save, and click save.

9. Now you finished Open MCForge inside of magic launcher along with your new mod zip file and log in. I prefer to use creative so I can have easy access to the block.but that's me it's you mod not mine.

i hope guide has helped you on how to make a mod. Once you have mad on can you tell me the name so I ca try it out and then write a review on it. Happy building and have a great fun with your mod.

I have a few points. The first is that this newfangled mod creation software is just plain stupid. Java is one of the easiest programming languages to learn, so you may as well just code your mod. Forge has an excellent API, and you can use Java for many uses (in our modern world, there is a high demand for people who can code), such as getting a career. If you code it yourself, there are better possibilities, and you could more easily make something really cool. None of the big and famous mods are made using MCreator. Anyway, you didn't even use correct grammar throughout the blog. In fact, Java is one of the following languages I speak/know: English, 'Murican, Java, and Thalassian.

People these days dont like MCreator because people make such terrible mods with it people think its thanks to MCreator. Plus you can't upload any mods from it to PMC

First off, we don't WANT simple mods. There are already too many of them. Second, I think it would be more beneficial for people to actually learn Java then use a "plug-'n'-play" program to do all of the work. I mean, what's the most exciting thing that they can make with a program like this? More tools? Mobs? People want something new and exciting.

TL;DR

Learn Java (or Scala), people. Seriously. >.>

Mods created with programs such as MCreator are not allowed on the site, Same thing with music projects made with programs like MCNBS.
