how to make a slime spawning room

we need to find the correct way to make a room that spawns slimes every time and not just once.I am sick of getting them once and they NEVER spawn back.First i am told you need to go down to bedrock and make a 16 by 16 room (didnt work). Any way i saw one above bedrock and not really even in alot of light.

They only spawn in so few chunks of the map, they are so rare that is better to build one of those rooms in a place were you have seen a slime; or, to just have a cheat that tells witch parts of the map have slimes chunks.
