Hi everyone! if you are reading this then you wonder how to make an effective PMC post (PMC=Planet minecraft)
There are a few steps and key idea's that you have to add to a post in order to get views and diamonds/favorites on it.

My post all consist of a title image that i take with a shader mod on, in order to give it more of a lively feel to it. then i edit the Photo in GIMP (GNU image manipulation program) to get my Project title/name on it. i suggest you take your pictures in F1 mode so you dont see any of the GUI in your shots.

Once i have my pictures taken and my title image edited, i then go around and shrink down the Photos to 1280x1024 and crop out the extra crap that i get on my screen when i take the photo (if you are using a mac to take your photos you can hit command-shift-3 to take a screen shot).

Once i have my photos all cleaned up and edited, i put them all in a folder and name them 1-? depending on how many photos you took. (call the folder you put them in something easy like PMC building, so you dont loose ur shots)

you may be temped to quickly upload your shots to PMC, but i generally wait to do that at the end. My next step would be to go onto PMC, select upload a project name it what ever you decided, fill out the category and such. Then get to typing your description of the project. make sure to include some things about it (such as how long it took what inspired you, or even what server you made the building on.) the Description of the project isnt often red by viewers but it is still good to get into the mind set of doing all you can to promote your post. (when typing your description it is advised to make a backup of it somewhere on your desktop in case your post is deleted.)

One thing i like to do depending if the project was made on a server, is Put another description of the server it was built on. post links to its PMC page, and or website depending if it has one, give the server IP and a warp to your building on the server (if it doesnt have one give cords to it)

The final thing i like to do is add a banner to promote your building, The banner can be of anything you would like, it can be used to remind players to diamond or favorite your build, you can use it to tell people to check out your other builds, you can use it to ask people to subscribe to you... you can really put anything that you want advertised on your post here.
(to add a banner, upload ur photo to a website like Imgur select the weblink to the photo and copy it, then back in PMC click on the top edit bar the little icon that looks like a little picture of a tree, delete where it says Http:// and paste in your web link. Your photo should come up, scale to how you like now)

AND OF COURSE, ADD LOTS OF TAGS TO YOUR PROJECT (the more tags means the more places your building will show up when something is searched on PMC)

Of course guys Please diamond and favorite this if it helped you out! please comment if you have any questions and sub if you want to see more of my work!
