Hi I always wondered how to make a texture pack and now I will tell you how I did It .
(there is a tutorial that you can watch that I put in)You will need 7Zip.First go to the start butten.type in %appdata% click on your .minecraft folder go into vesions open the 1.8 folder right click on the 1.8 exuteable jar file 7zip open archive. Right click on assets copy to (I sugust your destop) Create a new folder name it what ever you want your texture pack to be.Move the assets into that folder open a texture pack you have already installed move in the pack.mceta and the pack.png the pack.png is your texture pack icon and the pack.mceta it the despription. open assets the minecraft then texture and there you go edit those textures to your harts content! You will need things like pant.net nova skin and in my case notpad++ Also see my other blog to move your texture pack to minecraft! Daimond,Diamonds,Diamonds
