HOW TO MAKE A TEXTURE PACK ON MAC!!!!

STEP 1: Find your minecraft folder in library-application support- minecraft. You can find the library folder if you cant find it by going to finder, clicking "go" in the top bar and press and hold the "alt" key. Then click on the "library" icon that just appeared.
STEP 2: Make your minecraft.jar into a .zip by clicking it once and hitting enter. Rename it as minecraft.zip.
STEP 3:Double click the minecraft.zip that you just made. It should make a folder called minecraft.
STEP 4: Take out the minecraft folder and put it in a brand new folder you can name MY TEXTURE PACK.
STEP 5: force update your mine craft by going to the login screen and above login press options. Click force update then launch mine craft.
STEP 6: DELETE ALL OF THE .CLASS FILES.
STEP 7: keep folders called armor, title, textures, GUI, mob, particles.png, pack.text, font.text, art, environment,misc, and the item folder.
STEP 8: If you have photoshop on your mac you can control right click on a armor or art you want to edit and say "open with" photoshop. If you dont have photoshop, download a free version of pixen and use that. pixenapp.com
STEP 9: Once you finish editing, go to file- and save. DONT DO SAVE AS. YOU HAVE TO SAVE IT AS A .PNG.
STEP 10: ONCE YOU FINISH ALL THE EDITING YOU WANT. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE FOLDERS WHEN YOU BEGAN. THEN COMPRESS THE FILE BY RIGHT CLICKING THE "MY TEXTURE PACK" FOLDER AND CLICK COMPRESS. THEN YOU CAN UPLOAD IT TO PLANETMINECRAFT!!!!!!!
