How to make an Instant Smoke Generator

Hello for the second time today guys.
I'm back to show you how you can create your own smoke generator in Minecraft. All you need is 6 blocks, 1 lava, 1 water, some redstone and 4 repeaters. It would look great having two outside your house, or just using it in a shrine of some sort.
Whatever way you use it, it sure looks cool. Watch the video above for a low down on how to make them, and what could go wrong.

You get some text in the video, when you tell insted of speaking, how do you make that? What program do you use?

Oops wait. After watching the video I change my mind. Other than the smoke, it would make a great sound machine. Perhaps if you were building a factory. It could add to the atmosphere of the building?

Any way to make this more of a vertical structure? So I could still have a decent sized chimney and not a massive one?

I guess you could have the clock at the bottom of the chimney, and send the pulse up using the vertical torch trick.
