days 1 - 6

1st day
when you first spawn in a survival world i suggest you luck around and try to find some sheep. if you have sheep you take there wool and make a bed. when you have a bed your first night will be much easier because you sleep right through it. :) . also for your first house i like that the best option is to not build a house at all. i recommend you find a large hill or mountain and make a home under ground. for the first night it will most likely just be a hole in the ground. but you can upgrade and make it look better latter on by mining out the area and building walls, and also when you mining out the hole for your hose you mining stone and have a chance of iron and Cole. that is huge fore your first day of survival.

2nd day
now that you have a small base you should go out and start a breaking grass to try to get a wheat farm. the seeds you get the bigger the farm you can build. if you happen to find a village near you then steal there potatoes. potatoes give about the same as bread and you get more potatoes then bread in efficiency. if you haven't gotten any iron for buckets then you should find a body of watter ether a river or the oacen will work. collect a bunch dirt and build dirt strips over the body of watter. one strip of dirt and one strip of watter. then you can plant your crops on the strips of dirt that you have created.

3rd day - 4th day
now that you have a farm you should have enough food if not then use this day to expand it. if it is big enough then you can use this day for mining and gathering materials. first i would say you should get a bunch of wood and stone fore tools. once you get those materials you should leave your home and look for caves to get more coal and iron. spending 2 days on this part should get you enough iron and coal to last you for a good while. should be enough for a fool iron set and fool iron tools, and enough coal that it should last for a good while.

5th day
now that you have a decent amount of resources and hopefully stone i recommend that you start decorating your home. first if you haven't already you should build a much larger area area underground that has enough room for all your chests and still be comfortable. after you complete that then you should fill in the walls of your home with ether smooth stone or stone bricks. (stone bricks is better). then once you have the walls put in you can place your chests in your storage room. next i recommend you fancy up your entrance with stone slabs stairs and iron doors.

6th day
now that you have a nice home you need some precise gems to wear like the king that you are. build a small extension onto your house then in that room build a stair case all the way down to block highth of 5 or 6. then mine out a 5 block wide tunnel in a strait line. also build it in the opposite direction of the stair case. just build around it. the 5 blocks space is so you can place chests in the middle of your tunnel so that you can have temporary storage or have a place to hold pickaxes so you whenever you break a pik you dont have to run all the way back up the stair case. then once that is complete you can start strip mining down the sides of your tunnel. 1 block tunnel skip two blocks then start the next strip mine. repeat.
within about 5 to 6 hours of mining you should have around 32 diamonds 8 iron 15 gold 4 lapis and lots and lots of redstone.
