Finding what you are good at:

[size=10pt]First off you need to find something you are good in, are you good in blogs, making mods, making textures, or making skins. I find that making textures and making skins are almost the same thing.[/size]

[size=10pt]To find out what you are good at just try each of them, make a blog, a skin, a texture pack, and if you know java try and come up with a mod, just a try at posting something here will give you xp.[/size]

[size=10pt]After you post everything you wait, i say give it 1-2 days and then look, what items were popular that you posted, what had a lot of diamonds, what had many comments saying i love it, or i want more of these.[/size]

[size=13px][spoiler]By this time you should have some basic idea of what you are good at here at planet minecraft, i dont count servers to skills because its not really something you make. So anyway if you are making a texture pack you will want to update it as much as possible because texture packs are normally always pretty high in demand and so you should update at least 1 time every week. For mods i believe its true that almost any mod gets many views/downloads and you want to make sure you have the power to update that one mod, and not make it and just say its only here for this one version. If you made a skin you ether start out on it and have it not be 100% and you update it whenever you have time, or you make sure it is 100% done and post it right away, i recommend having it done and not doing updates as normally people will just find it annoying or just not update. Blogs, those are things you should take your time on, yes you should update it with info when you can think of some but you dont have to go and update them daily.[/size][size=13px][/spoiler][/size]

[spoiler]I recommend not updating your post daily as yes it will get you many views and maybe downloads but after a while people can look at it and think its a spam, and if this is true them they will report you, if this happens there is a chance that a moderator will remove your post and if this happens all of your Xp you earned from that submission is gone, that is why i tell you [b][color=rgb(255,0,0)]Update your submissions but not daily.[/color][/b][/spoiler]
