Hey! I'm going to show you how to spawn mobs like giants and zombie and skeleton horses, and other entities including minecarts with spawners, end crystals, experience orbs, and charged creepers. It's quite easy, just follow the steps. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, comment below or PM me.
Step One
You may skip step one and two if you don't want to use command blocks; however, I recommend using them if you want to spawn mobs repeatedly quickly.
First, you will need a command block and a button or lever to activate the command block.
How to get a command block: /give [your playername] minecraft:command_block. This will only work if cheats are enabled in your save or on your server. Also, note that for Minecraft version 1.7 and below you have to use the block ID (command block ID = 137).
Step Two
Simply place down the command block and right click it.
Step Three
After that, pick a mob or entity from the list below. (Scroll up and open the Screenshots spoiler for references.)
Step Four
Press F3 and check the X, YandZ values (coördinates) of the location you want to spawn your entity and type these numbers in the command block instead of the ~ characters. Press done.
Place the lever/button next to the command block and make sure your difficulty is on easy or higher when you're spawning a giant. Pull the lever or press the button.
