first off i have Foxy's permission
step 1) login to ssh (its easy to use bitvise)
step 2) download your plugins and spigot.jar
step 3) make a folder (like /root/spigot)
step 4) upload the .jar
step 5) create start.sh (look down)
step 6) go to ssh console and execute the following commands:

cd ~/<SERVER FOLDER>
chmod +x ./start.sh
./start.sh
step 7) when the server is up type "stop"
step 8) go to the "plugins" folder
step 9) upload your plugins
step 10) restart your mc server using
cd ~/<SERVER FOLDER>
./start.sh

the start.sh i use is:
#!/bin/sh java -Xms512M -Xmx1024M -XX:MaxPermSize=128M -jar spigot.jar

SSH SCREEN -R

say you want to use screen -r mycoolserver you would do the following

ditch the start.sh

make

#!/bin/bash

screen -S mycoolserver -d -m sh server.sh
as your start.sh
then
time to make the server.sh

#!/bin/bash
while true; do
    java -Xms2G -Xmx2G  -jar cauldron-1.7.10-2.1403.1.54-server.jar
done;
