Hey, GodKnights and all the people out at PCM! It's me again! And I'm here with something that will help all of the new users and noobs to minecraft! This guide will show you everything you need to know. Please excuse if it gets long, but it has everything you need to know to survive and thrive! The knowlage I have received from the greatest survivor out at youtube, paulsoaresjr, will now be passed on to many. There are Paul's tips, and a few of my own. So if you need help surviving, this is the thing to read! Also look at Paul's vids to survive and thrive! Enjoy! THE FIRST NIGHT You just spawned in your new blocky world, and you know what to do, where to go, or how to make things. DON'T PANIC: first, you need to find trees. Punch them down and collect the wood. Then, put the wood in your crafting area and ta-da! You now have wooden planks! Put 1 plank in each slot and make a crafting table. Then, place down the table and use it. Make sticks by putting one plank on top of the other in the slots. Now, make a pick by putting two sticks on top of each other, and 3 planks in the top row. Now, find some stone. Mine until you have a good amount of cobblestone(about 29 to 30 peices) and craft stone tools. Recipes for tools: Shovel: 2 sticks on top with 1 stone above them in the crafting table. Sword: 1 stick at the bottom middle slot, then 2 stone on top of it. Axe: 2 sticks on top of each other, and one stone on top, 1 stone next to that, and one stone bellow that. Pick axe: use the same recipe above, but use stone instead of wooden planks. Now, use the extra stone to make a house in your own way. Make Sure you seal it off after you get inside. Make it small to save stone. Wait for the morning and congratulations: you've just survived your first night! QUICK TIPS TO SAVE TIME When making wooden tools, only make a pick out of wood. Mine stone and make stone tools. It saves you wood. Never spend too much time messing around. The minute the sun goes down, the mobs start to spawn, and unless you are really good at fighting, you're pretty much dead. Get plenty of wood! If you don't have much wood, you won't survive a minute at night. Don't fight mobs if you don't have to unless you know what your doing. They will kill you the second they can see you. Don't go into caves without torches. Mobs spawn in the dark when you are near, and the last thing you want is coming face to face, literally, with an enderman. I hope you find these tips useful!
