Read this to find out an effective way to survive your first night in minecraft.

Once your world is created you need to look around. There is multiple land types in minecraft.

These are all of them:
Forest,
Jungle,
Desert,
Ocean Biome,
Plain,

CHAPTER 1
Find the section with where you are.

=Forest=
Gather some wood from the trees and if there is a hill nearby dig into it, otherwise just dig 5-6 blocks down. Skip to the next chapter.

=Jungle=
Gather some wood from the trees and if there is a hill nearby dig into it, otherwise just dig 5-6 blocks down. Skip to the next chapter.

=Desert=
If you can see ocean, then follow the ocean line until you find a forest, jungle or grassy land. (If you see sugar cane, big long green stalks, mine it and pick it up) Then read the instructions of the place you found.

=Ocean Biome= (unlikely)
Quit the game, click delete, start the world again (unless you can see land, then read the instructions of the place you found.)

=Plain=
Mine the long grass, and once in a while seeds will come out. Pick them up. Then try to find trees. If you see the ocean, go further into the land, if not, go to where the higher land seems to be. If you cannot tell which way leads to a higher place, go in a random direction. Once you get to trees (hopefully) follow the instructions of the place it is.

CHAPTER 2
So you should be in a jungle or forest, and have dug 5 or 6 blocks down or into a hill, otherwise go back to chapter 1.

A reasonable ammount of wood to have would be 10. ok so now you need to make a crafting table, you do the following things.

Press "E" You will see your inventory, and also a mini crafting table. If you click your wood, then right click on 1 space on the mini crafting table, you should see 4 wooden planks come out. Place the rest of the wood back in your inventory.



4 wooden planks should then make a crafting table like this



Take the crafting table.
Place the crafting table somewhere, and then right click it. You should have a 3x3 area crafting table instead of a 2x2..

Now you want to make a wooden pickaxe. We will use this wooden pickaxe to make a bigger house, and get some cobblestone. First you need to get sticks.



Then use the sticks to make a pickaxe



That is how to make it. Now you need to extend your house.
Extend it to about 6 blocks long.

If you built your house into the side of a hill, you need to make a door, but if you built it into the floor you need a trapdoor.
