Hello people of PMC, this is my first blog and I'm gonna help you terraforming!
Terraforming is another word for terrain forming, forming a terrain. Most good maps have a custom terraformed terrain, which means they used worldedit! I'm gonna teach you the basics of terraforming, which are mostly commands.
-Making a flat area-
To start off you need to make a flat area. To make one, type //wand, it will give you a wooden axe! The next thing you have to do is selecting two positions, you left click on a block to select the first position, you right click to select the second position. After you selected the area you want to remove type //set 0. This will remove every block within your selected area.
-Starting-
To start making your terrain, choose a different tool (a wooden shovel, for example), select it and type //brush sphere (the block you want to be on your terrain) (the radius of the sphere), if I want to make a big stone terrain, I always use //brush sphere 1 5. When you equiped your brush you right click with your tool to make a sphere, and you continue making spheres. Make sure all spheres are connected and that there are no empty spaces between them!
-Smoothing-
If you made your terrain, you may notice that it doesn't look realistic, you just have a bunch of spheres. To make it realistic, select another tool and type //brush smooth 5. This brush will make your terrain realistic! Simply just right click on your terrain!
-Naturalizing-
When you're done and you made hills you may notice that they're only made of the block you used, to make it more natural simply just select the terrain you want to make natural and type //naturalize. This will change some blocks in stone.
This requires a little bit of practice but after a while you'll notice you're getting better and better, don't give up!
So this was my first blog, please diamond if you enjoyed and make sure to check out my profile! I hope I helped you and sorry for my bad grammar.
