Downloading the Mods

Step 1: Get Forge at http://files.minecraftforge.net/

Step 2: Get Optifine at http://optifine.net/downloads

Step 3: Get 5zig at https://www.5zig.eu/downloads

Step 4: Get Liteloader at http://www.liteloader.com/download


Installing the Mods

Step 1: Find and open the Forge installer (e.g. forge-1.9-12.16.1.1923-installer-win.exe)

Step 2: Select 'OK'

Step 3: Open the Minecraft Launcher

Step 4: Select the launcher profile the Forge Installer made for you (e.g. forge)

Step 5: Select 'Play'

Step 6: Select 'Quit Game'

Step 7: Find the 5zig file that was downloaded (e.g. The 5zig Mod v3.5.12 for Minecraft 1.9 (2).jar)

Step 8: Copy the file to the mods folder in .minecraft

Step 9: Find the Optfine file that was downloaded (e.g. OptiFine_1.9.0_HD_U_B3.jar)

Step 10: Copy the file to the mods folder in .minecraft

Step 11: Find and open the Liteloader installer (e.g. liteloader-installer-1.9.0-00-SNAPSHOT.jar)

Step 12: Select the 'Extend from:' drop down menu

Step 13: Select the option with the name of the forge version you would like to use (e.g. 1.9-forge 1.9-12.16.1.1923)

Step 14: Select 'OK'

Step 15: Open the Minecraft Launcher

Step 16: Select the launcher profile the Liteloader Installer made for you that includes forge (e.g. LiteLoader 1.9 with Forge 1.9)

Step 17: Select 'Play'
