Hey. Just wanted to add this as a little thank you. I made this guide almost 2 years ago now, and I'm astounded it has reached almost 25000 views! That's insane for a little, badly coloured guide I made. So, while I play little to no Minecraft now, thanks again. I'm glad I could be of help you you all.
This how to use the /effect & /enchant commands. I'm not a command genius but i'll share what I know so more people know!
Effect command: The effect command is relatively simple. There are 23 effects, which includes potion effects & non-potion effects. They are;
1-Speed
2-Slowness
3-Haste
4-Mining Fatigue
5-Strength
6-Instant Health
7-Instant Damage
8-Jump Boost
9-Nausea
10-Regeneration
11-Resistance
12-Fire Resistance
13-Water Breathing
14-Invisibility
15-Blindness
16-Night Vision
17-Hunger
18-Weakness
19-Poison
20-Wither
21-Health Boost
22-Absorption
23-Saturation
Then you can select how powerful the effect will be by choosing numbers from 1 to 255.
You use them like this: /effect (playername) (effect id) (seconds) (amplifier)
Enchant Command: The enchant command when used will enchant whatever armour, tool, or weapon that is in your hand. There are data values for all enchantments:
Armour:
0-Protection
1-Fire Protection
2-Feather Falling
3-Blast Protection
4-Projectile Protection
5-Respiration
6-Aqua Affinity
7-Thorns
34-Unbreaking
Weapons:
16-Sharpness
17-Smite
18-Bane Of Arthropods
19-Knockback
20-Fire Aspect
21-Looting
34-Unbreaking
Tools:
32-Efficiency
33-Silk Touch
34-Unbreaking
35-Fortune
Bows:
48-Power
49-Punch
50-Flame
51-Infinity
You can increase the level of the enchantment but only as far as it is possible in vanilla Minecraft e.g. Sharpness can be level V (5) but not level X (10). Then you type the command like this /enchant (playername) (enchantment id) (level).
Hope this helped!
