A Guide To The Hunger Games!

Hello... Ally? If you missed my previous blog on PVP, you should go check it out!

Now that you know the basics of PVP, i can gofurther into depth on how to get the upper hand in combat and the
hunger games! Ready to develop your masters degree in the hunger games? Well dive in, and oh,don't forget your sword.

Please fell free to skip some sections if you feel that you have mastered gthem already but i would recomend reading them all.
Chests

The art of mastering item gathering, chest finding and looting will require patience and skill. Well not really,
it just takes the colossal effort for you to read thisarticle and heed the wisdom thou placeduponyou.

Chest looting depends on a number of factors. If their is a grace period, dive straight in! Whereas if there is not
it would be wiser to assess the situation, if you know really good stuff can be found in the chests and not so much
outside spawn then take a chance!

Most map makers try and make it easy for you to find their chests, though if i where you i wouldn't go running into some ancient Mayantemple was trapped, but if you master the pyramid then over time you will know where
the traps are. Look up trees, in graves and below you. They are most commonly found in places where other builds are.

Trapped Chests
Suspicious? You should be, some map makers enjoy the sensation of creating over complicated ways tobrutallytrap or kill their players, to bad i learnt that the hard way.

There is a simple way to find out if the chest is trapped or not, if it is trapped then the white lock
on the chest will have a red ring around it. It would also be wise to look for pressure plates or wire around the area,
i only really worry about traps if i am in an ancient temple, cave or some kind of ruined build. Or a chest in an area covered with ore andjewels.

Food
Conserving food is important,especially if the maps are known to hold little. A way to avoid running out is not to run unless absolutely necessary, and stalk your prey/player until they are in an area not easy to escape or can be cornered in. The less they can run the better. Be sure not be attacked from behind though while you are stalking, and if it goes on for more than a minute or two, sink in for the kill anyway.

Axes
Barbaric? In the hunger games their is no such thing.
Swing that Axe until you hear the joyful crunch of their skull. Aim for the head and swing strong, not that their is sucha thing in Minecraft. Still, axes to not out damage a sword of itsequal material.

Enchanting
Enchanting is a great way to smash your enemies,especiallyif you have some decent xp levels and spawn has an enchantment table. Its a good idea to take
thecoordinatesof spawn so you can find your way back if their is no other orientation for spawn.

Alliances
Allies? Or an easy way to kill someone?Alliancesare very important in the hunger games, and making trusted allies over the course of a few games is also a good
idea, as the mutual trust begins to build. Although if you sense they are thinking of stabbing you in the back, dont fret and instead, return the favor early.

When you are just starting out with them, horde maybe the best weapon. Don't make
it look obvious cause otherwise they will get angry and just might choose to kill you but if they are looking suspicous one point and the other looking down over a long, long cliff.
