You might not want to advertise the fact you are using Nodus, a hacked client, or that your friend does if that happens to be the case. Anyway, with it you can display anyone's name as anything you want. Even if they are sneaking. Sure makes things easy to fake huh? And why is everyone laughing in the chat? And why does the part of your friend joining missing from the chat?
It is obvious this is a fake. If you didn't realize it than your friend has pranked you, and not very well at that. It is so obviously faked, that there is only one piece of evidence saying it isn't. Simply just the skin. However, there are many things against it. Hacked client, hundreds of Herobrine skins, on a server, things missing from chat, and all four usernames in the picture are taken. But the Skype and Herobrine names both appear fake since they are the hacked client's version of names.

Hereobrine does not exist as stated by notch and Jeb during a live developer conference.
