IMPORTANT: Oh.... woopsies. I searched my history, I searched using google, PMC, minecraft forums, ask.com etc. And now...... It wasn't a dream. I mean, my dreams about minecraft are usually very vivid, but I guess this dream was just too vivid to be... not true? Well, the other day I really got my hopes up. I think it was the night that I downloaded mcskinedit, or maybe it was the night after that.
Anyway, I woke up the next morning believing that there was a program made by the same people as mcskinedit (looked really similar in my memory, too).
In my supposed 'dream' there was a screenshot of the program, and in the top right of what would normally be mcskinedit (mac version by the way) there was a block that looked like a little wooden end table with a drawer in it.
It was apparently made with a hat, like on skins, but for blocks. It looked awesome! No fancy graphics or anything, just the effective bits of 'block hat'.
So I decide I'll give making a texture pack a try, so I look the program up. It still remains such a vivid memory, I even remember that the screenshot of it was on the mcskinedit page in the minecraft forums!
Also, the background mas not grey, but really dark grey with slightly lighter borders around the segments of the skin (yes, normal 'drawing' area).
Of course, I checked my history and everything but it wasn't there. If I had given it any thought whatsoever, I would have realised that having a 'hat' for a minecraft block is impossible.. though I remember in my dream thinking of it as a chest.. which does have some transparency now.
Anyway.. I think if someone had the skill and time to make a program like this, it would be awesome for everyone!
