It seems the users on planet minecraft have lost the true meaning of the word "infection" or "infected"

Infection: The growth of a parasitic organism within the body. (A parasitic organism is one that lives on or in another organism and draws its nourishment therefrom.) A person with an infection has another organism (a "germ") growing within him, drawing its nourishment from the person.

The term "infection" has some exceptions. For example, the normal growth of the usual bacterial flora in the intestinal tract is not usually considered an infection. The same consideration applies to the bacteria that normally inhabit the mouth.

There is no logical way that an infection can cause to be some weird half and half monster. No infection causes you to turn into another species, I can understand having a bit of story for a skin but there are so many of these skins! and I have yet to see one with any effort or detail put into it. Do you know what makes a story a really really good story? (even with fiction) the plot is *somewhat* plausible to occur in real life. Hypothetically speaking if monsters were to exist, sudden contact with one would not turn you into a member of that "monster's" species. It's like poorly written Sci-Fi

Poorly written or Poorly created, i see no difference

parasites do not change your genetic makeup, very few can get past the blood brain barrier and the ones that do normally just kill you not turn you into another species

so do we call them hybrids ?? infected sounds more interesting ...

your argument doesn't give people any answers... just points out a problem

if you really think about it your whole statement is quiet confusing

My statement is that no one in this site understands the concept of an infection

there is no argument here. This is the definition of the word
