Well, as you can see, by the title, this blog is going to be about minecraft's general addiction, purely, in this blog. I wouldn't say that no other game in the world is addicting, but minecraft's addicting for a certain reason. A special reason. For that reason, and for this website, I will be talking about the pros and cons to its signifance in the world. Minecraft is a single or multiplayer sandbox game in which you are given a certain objective, to survive in the wilderness, or build in creative. Either way, you use all the knowledge you have in that game, to make the best experience possible. There are certain pros and cons to this addiction. Trust me, it was very addicting, now and then.

Pros of Minecraft Addiction
- A little more knowledge of how things work
- Fun? (A changing variable)
- Sociality with other minecraft players
- "Better Reflexes"
- Different ways of analyzing things
- Ideas, creativity, imagination

Cons of Minecraft Addiction
- No outside time (less vitamin D)
- Antisocialist
- UV rays from computer or other device affecting vision
- Less sunlight, more shade
- Perform well in minecraft, perform badly at homework or sports
- Lower life expectancy rate (Depends on how long you play)

Please don't hate on me for making this "Minecraft addiction" blog, but the cons and pros both present strong arguments. It is very hard to decide whether it's better to be addicted to minecraft or not. I failed my life with being addicted, and I know better than to be playing for hours and hours. I try to spend only an hour or two blogging, chatting, playing, etc. It all evens out to all minecraft, no outside, more yelling, more frustration. Minecraft is not a bad thing. It is not bad at all. But if you use it in a way that will be bad for you and good for itself, you're out of luck.

Try not to spend hours and hours on minecraft, otherwise you could probably steer yourself in the wrong direction. I've been on minecraft for about a whole month or two total for my whole life. I don't want anybody else that hasn't made that mistake, to not make it yet. So this blog isn't to prevent you from playing minecraft, but prevent you from spending too much time on it. Set controlled times for when you can play or not. This particular sandbox game is world renowned, meaning everyone pretty much heard of it or recognizes it. It is gaining more and more recognition along the years it has been established and updated. Every single update it gets harder to stop playing, unless you are not a "computer games" person.

Don't fall into the 5 hour minecraft trap. Play, have fun, get out, go to work. It's not that hard. And I don't expect you to be slacking off the whole day. Happy 2 days of spring break! "At least, for me!"

It's a good blog with good points, but I disagree with some. I am a kid, I play Minecraft, I have lots of friends (mostly IRL I only got like 2 digital friends), and I get A's and A+'s at school, and I play baseball on a pretty good team.

Yes, I know, but you didn't include that I said, you can play minecraft for 1-3 hours. Some people overdo the point where they overdo the extent of playing minecraft.
