Project Description

The aim of Kickass Kode is to implement a feature we believe could revolutionise gaming! Our concept is the ability to hold a button (say Control or pressing down the wheel on the mouse) and interactively move the character's arm around the screen. Carve your initials into a rock or an enemy's face, or reach up to a lever hidden in the very top corner of a room and pull it with the tips of your fingers! Even Kinect compatibility would be possible, if the camera followed the player's arm and copied the movement ingame. The idea, we believe, is original and could allow for far more complex challenges and interesting gameplay. We hope to raise money so that we may afford to purchase books and other support in an effort to improve our current humble programming skill so that we can do this. Our long-term goal is to make it into the gaming industry and revolutionise gaming as a whole, and hopefully this could be the ticket. Gaming is our passion, it is an art and we are aspiring artists. We hope you might share our vision and support us in our efforts.
We are starting with Minecraft. We want to mod this ability into Minecraft, as a test and because it seems so right for a game like Minecraft. We are avid players of the game, one could call us addicted. Minecraft is perfect for such a concept in that hiding a button in a corner or placing torches in non-linear positions is something interesting that would make things more entertaining and challenging possibly. If you haven't played Minecraft, we recommend you try it, and you should see our point once you get the hang of it. Especially in online multiplayer.
The Project is soon to be up on Pozible so we can get funding to make this Happen!
