"Steve, did you hear?" asked his little sister, Alex, "King Notch died and his brother Herobrine took over the throne."


                "Oh no, but Notch still had so much unimplemented updates!", exclaimed Steve." Maybe Herobrine will fulfill them."


                Steve was wrong. The next day, Herobrine passed a law that all diamonds , gold, iron, and emeralds must be handed over to him. He also said that all players were his slaves and must do whatever he commands or they die. A week later, Jeb leaked information that Herobrine assassinated Notch, and is planning to kill all life in the entire kingdom. The next day, Jeb was beheaded.


                Many people were startled  after Jeb's shocking news. Several families began to flee Minecraftia. Steve had planned with his family to escape through the sewer system. Once they left the house, Steve's family began their walk to the nearest sewer entrance. On the way, Steve's mother was shot by a sniper bow. She died and the faces of Steve and Alex were covered in sorrow.


                Shortly after, Steve and Alex found the sewer. They could still hear the cries and screams of people running into the lines of police scattered throughout the town. Steve quickly climbed down, and helped his sister in. They began their long trek through the sewers that smelled like rotten flesh and spoiled mushroom stew. They had to sleep under the bats and risked being poisoned. Eventually, they ran into a man with a long nose.


                "Hello," said the man, "I am Testificate. Are you venturing to the far lands to escape oppression as  I am?"


                Steve replied' "Um...yes. Can you help us?"


                "Well,  I see that you hold an emerald for you must've sneaked it... I'd like that emerald as a trade for my help. I have a surplus of food in my inventory and strong tools." said Testificate.


                Steve gave Testificate the emerald, and the three continued their trek. After a week of walking, they reached the edge of the sewer. Knowing that they had reached the border, they mined out a few blocks before ascending out of the sewer. After that, the three set up a shelter in the far lands.


                Meanwhile, Herobrine was proud of his invention. His device was simple, a command block and a pressure plate. The command block would kill all players with the step  of a pressure plate. But that's not all, the pressure plate also sent a redstone signal down tunnels that would blow up the entire city. Click. Herobrine just killed himself  and all other players... except for anybody in the far lands.       


                At the far lands, Steve was working on the roof while Alex smelted beef and Testificate crafted tools. Then, a skeleton suddenly shot Steve. He ran into the house where he fainted and fell into a coma. Alex and Testificate were devastated.


                The next day, they returned to the kingdom and settled in a new home. Alex and Testificate had children and started a village. They kept Steve's body in a small house waiting for him to wake up. Years passed, and Testificate died of old age. Alex also died in a smithy fire. Generations of Minecraftians passed, and more villagers set out to establish new settlements. Finally, after 100 years of a coma, Steve finally awoke. He had to survive by himself now.
