The town was in ruin. While Syp stayed back, hidden from the horror, Kiril ransacked the place. He stole anything and everything. Because if she was right, Kiril had a sister; a sister that was about to be sold to a dead-beat town. He wasn't going to let that happen.
They left soon after, not looking back, surely not thinking about it.
"Hey, Kiril?" Syp asked a bit later.
"Yeah?"
"There is a town country north of here, 'Eurasia' I think. I've got some family over there we can stay with."
"Alright, but i'm not staying. I can't. I've got too much of a price on my head."
"Come on, I bet no one will even notice you."
"Fine, fine. The first run-in I have with the Law i'm gone."
"I guess that's a deal, then."
With bag-full of supplies, they headed in search of what sounded like salvation.
What they didn't yet know is that it's as crooked as the one they just left.
Sorry about the small story today, i'm having a bit of writer's block.
Anyway, i'll have a better one uploaded soon.
