intro

i'm sorry for not posting a review last week, i had had a busy weekend and wasn't really up to the task of writing one. thankfully my weekend this week was pretty sparse, although i did watch the spongebob movie with my bf since he thought it was sin i had never seen it. enough about me though, we have a mod to review!

what is farmer's delight?

farmer's delight is a farming and cooking mod that adds plenty of new recipes as well as tools to cook them. it's in a similar vein to pam's harvestcraft which i covered a while ago. i find that the two mods work fine in tandem although you may find that certain foods have multiple recipes.

likes

the tools

this mod offers lot of various kitchen equipment for you to make your food which i love. it can be a bit complicated which i'll talk about later but i adore that you can make yourself a mini working kitchen for your culinary adventures. it works great if you enjoy decorating since the models look quite nice.

the variety

i find some food mods can be a little lacking for any non american food but this mod has a good selection. it means i can make one of my favourite foods too, which is dumplings. now they just need to add phở gà :]

dislikes

it can be complicated

i've talked before about how i generally enjoy mods that require a lot of steps, it tickles my brain, but i know a lot of people can get discouraged by mods having you make a lot of devices before you can just get the item you want. for example to make my dumplings i have to make a cutting board, a knife, and a pot. they aren't hard items to make thankfully but i know it can be annoying for some so i put it here

final thoughts

farmer's delight is a really fun mod, i focused more on the cooking aspect in the review but the farming is great too. i would fully recommend the mod if you enjoy either farming or cooking in game.
