Hello there PMC Community:

I would like to introduce you all to a very huge Minecraft project.
I am talking about: Laputa, the castle in the sky.

Sadly the featured Youtube video is in german like the domain we are using for hosting.
But still it is recommended to watch this video once even if you only speak english ;)
Believe me its worth the time :)

For the german speaking users i dont have to explain much, because they understand the video :D

For the english Minecraft fans out there:


- The video is about a 1:1 scaled model of Laputa, thats a skycastle from the film named: Castle in the sky.
- Building time untill now: about 2 years.
- Size: about 700 x 700 x 350 blocks.
- Mostly handbuild cause when we started there was no Worldedit and no Vauxel Sniper :S
- Hosted on DISABLED (HP IS IN WORK ATM)
- Link to the DISABLED (HP IS IN WORK ATM)
- Teamspeak IP: nerdstar.de

IMPORTANT:

Will get back to the thread asap :)
- Livemap is OFFLINE.
- Video source is still working.
- Teamspeak is still working.


FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HELP US FINISH THE SKYEVENTWORLD FOR NERDSTAR:

- You are able to use Teamspeak.
- You are able to use Dropbox Cloudservice.
- It would be nice if you are from Europe for the connection or either speak german. Because the Nerdstar Team is only making german videos/blogs. Untill now we dont think about going international.
- You have at minimum once watched the Anime: Laputa Castle in the Sky.
- You are at the age of 16 or older. (Just for the communication, nothing bad against the younger users :D )

Optional:

- You are from Germany or Austria.
- You have read the Mangas.
- You are able to Translate japane language in german or english (We are still searching for someone who has the old Manga originals).
- You have at least watched 2 or more Films from Studio Ghibli.

We are changing the Host at the Moment. Moving to Playtimes network of the famous Gamestar Magazine. So i am sry that we have no blog about this project at the moment.
