"So Amanda," Bailey asked "what are you doing this summer?"


"I am going to Florida!" I yelled with excitement.


"Cool but before you leave out, me and Bailey wants to see you something." Jordyn said.


The four of us made it to school. The school day went by real fast and me, Bailey and Jordyn was by the lake. Jordyn was holding something shiny in his hands. It was a crystal star. I haven't seen one of those in a while.


"Amanda, I'm pretty sure you've seen this." Jordyn said as he stretched his hand towards me. "This is the star of darkness." I took it.


"How'd did you get this?" I asked surprised.


"During lunch last week, I went outside and found it in the courtyard." He explained. "Take care of it."


I held it close to my chest. "I will. See ya!"


We said our goodbyes for now and I ran home. I was full of excitement as I unlocked the door and rushed inside. "Mom, I'm home!" I yelled in excitement. Strangely enough, she didn't respond. She is a stay-home mom who work here to provide for us (me and her). I put the star and my bag down and I started to panic a bit. What if she got kidnapped? What if she was raped? What if she was killed?! I snapped out of it and search around the house. All I found was a note written in an unfamiliar hand-writing. It wasn't in mom's hand-writing, so I am clueless. It said:


"You and your mother both have unbelievable powers. Your mother joined my conquest for world domination and together we will rule. If you are wise, you will join us. If you dono t, well you won't like what will happen next. It's your choice. Meet me in your backyard"

Whoa what? They was in the backyard and I didn't notice them? Man, I'm blind. Anyway, I rushed into the backyard and saw a crazy looking old dude in and flying colorful hovercraft thingy and he hado ¦o ¦ MOM TYED UP!!


"so, you found us.. we was just getting to know each other." He said is a deep voice. "Have you came to join us?"


"Nope. I came here for my mom. LET HER GO!!!" I charged at him, only to get hit with one of his missiles. I screamed as I went flying. I landed in a tree bark. I struggled to get out of the bark and in a few seconds, I was out and landed on my butt only to see the freak flew away with my mom. She screamed for me as none of her powers was working. I got up and ran after them as fast as I could.
