This is a new series I decided to make up and talk about my opinions (Yes I looked on the rules for the blogs just to not get this removed) about PMC. The series will be LTL (Let's talk Linnet) and you can suggest what I can talk about :33
First Discussion: Favoritism.
If some people didn't understand that word let me tell you the jist of it. Well-Known people on PMC (I'm generally talking about the skinners :P) tend to get more diamonds than other people. I know this is isn't a surprise to anybody but if a well-known skinner makes a bad skin people will still follow and Diamond it. Maybe it was a bad technique they switched to or maybe they had trouble, either way people still go for the best person skin.
I once saw a great skin that was made by a skinner that wasn't really known so they didn't get many diamonds. I thought the skins were great and maybe they would get far in PMC. But their skins got like 1 or 2 diamonds, per submission. Because of the mass amounts of great skinners and competition they were quickly sent into the shadows. In a few months or so their skins would improve, no doubt, and be like Oblivion or Kire.
Not trying to say anything bad about skinners that are well known, but if you have a bad skin or think it doesn't look good you should probably put in the description area "I didn't like this skin much, I don't want you guys to spare my feelings, please tell me what you think." When my skins are bad I know that I'll put that there, since I know it's better to know what people think than to know what faked.
This concludes the first LTL (Let's Talk Linnet) hope you guys all like it, and if not then well sorry, since these are fun to make :P
