The full moon shined through the dark purple clouds. Its rays reached the forest to make the dewdrops glitter. All the forest is quiet and still.. until there is a small light floating above a lily, like a tiny star that came from the heavens. It then dreamily fluttered through a clump of forget-me-nots and flew slowly to a small door at the base of a tree. It carefully opened it and tiptoed inside to find the tree was cut in half and the rest of the village was being burned. Fly agaric homes smashed. It turned its body to a sound, hearing a loud smash on the ground, and looked up. Two giant beings were chasing each other with wood swords. A even bigger being boomed “come inside kids, it’s lunch!”
“Mom, we were almost done with our game!”
“Look at that, you smashed the mushroom garden. Just get inside,”
The two giants ran inside and the small light flew as fast as it could toward other lights, most of which were wounded, but some were on the ground, barely holding onto life till losing it. The small light finally found its own home, which was completely destroyed. The small light almost started crying, fading in color, looking for its own family. It was only a child. It needed its parents. It's sister. It searched the crowd for her, finding a small blue light, zooming at full speed towards it and hugging it in open arms but realized immediately that it was holding their mom crying, dad somewhere else smashed by one of the fallen homes. It’s mom took one last breath, before turning white. That day there was the first graveyard they had ever needed. Suddenly the bigger giant tripped over a sword one of the tiny giants left, falling on the graveyard. The small light immediately realizes this and flips it body, to realize it’s sister never left the graveyard, and now never would.
