WORK IN PROGRESS
Good day to you all. Today we are going to learn how to make Skin textures for the Little Maids Mod. This tutorial is mainly focused on the original small maids but you can apply these skills with the taller sized maids that are a little more comlex. Lets begin~!
What You Will Need:
~MC Skin Program (I'm using MCSkin3d)
~WinRAR/Zip
~LittleMaids Mod (Any version as long as it matches Forge version)
~Forge
~DL littlemaid models for MCSkin3D
Our first step is to download one ziped file called "Little Maid Models For MCSkin3d. Click on the link below then download it.
The download contains a ziped file of the mcskin program with little maid textures put into the files and more. I made this file so it will be easier for people to set things up for begginer skin makers.
MCSKIN LITTLE MAIDS ADDITION DOWNLOAD
I would like to take a moment to thank the person who made the files for us to see out maids. It makes maid skin making a lot easier! Thank you ueda
All credits go to you!

Step 1: Opening your skin
Assuming you have MC Skin Opened on your pc, you will be met with this interface.
Click on the icon in the tool bar that looks like steves skin colors
This will take you to the texture tab, where a flat version of your skin will be. This will be the place we will work in the most. There is another button called "hybrid". this button is a combo of both the flat 2d texture map of the skin and the 3d verion. Now it is time to import your Maids textures.
Step 2: Importing your Skins
You can do this after downloading your mod files from link I provided above. It has everything you need. And if you already have the mods files great! if you want to find your own textures from the model files here is what you can do. We will use something like WinRAR to open the files. Navigate through the folders until you found the maids textures. You can find these files through something like
(Your maids mod Folder) -> assets -> ect.
I will be using the Original Little Maid Textures here on the highlighted folder as an example. Open the Folder you imported and Click on a skin of your choosing.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
As you can see, The layout is not as dunting at it seems. It only seems that way at first glance. You will figure out quickly which area is which in order to create your new custom Little Maid. Take your time to figure things out and be creative. To put your new maid into your game you simply rename her to the original mod files title, then you drag her into the file and replace the old one. If it does not work you probably dragged your maids skin into the wrong file.
If any of you have further questions I will be happy to help out. Don't be shy and comment if you need to.
