Hello all :) I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate me being on PMC for 10 years now. With a look back at my entire time in Minecraft! =D
So my story begins around 2012. I had just got a laptop for Christmas. My first ever computer =D. I had used the families computer prior to that, in which it was ancient, and wasn't meant for any games at all, besides maybe solitaire, and some old trucking game, and a train sim. So fast forward a few weeks. I begin watching videos on YouTube. I thought wow this is so amazing I have never done this before! All tho I am no entirely sure how I ever ended up finding it. But my first experience with Minecraft was a YouTube video of someone lets play/ tour of their base
Right from that moment I was hooked on the game. I had to find out what this game was, I had never heard of it before! I had to convince my mom to let me use her card to buy Minecraft as I was in my teens, and had the money, but had long yet to set up a card from the bank.
I must admit my first couple days I spent playing the Demo before I bought it. I was so ecstatic when I first logged in. Looking back my first days in the full game. I spent digging holes in the side of caves/hill, and being scared of mobs, despite me not knowing I was in creative mode :P.
But beside the point. My first ever building in Minecraft was a wooden boxy house, in the vague shape of a airplane, Maybe I was destined to building vehicles :P. Pictured below is my recreation of my first ever build ever (Please I worked so hard on this D=) , since I never saved any screenshots. Heck I didn't even know how to work a dispenser, that was magic to me lol. Looking back this seemed so much cooler at the time when I first built it lol
After awhile of building random thing. i started looking for a server to join. I remember it was around version 1.2.5. Finding a server. I joined, and it initially took me hopping around different servers to I finally found one to call home. One of my very first builds on a server was this battleship I built in survival, around after the servers first map reset
AT the time I was so impressed with some of the builders I seen on the server at the time, and wanted to be able to build like them. My very first ever inspiration in building was mrpancakestak. During my time on the server, I had been using PMC to vote for the server, and one of the players convinced me I should make a account on here. That is where everything got started. I stuck with the server for what feels like a year or two or three. Up to the server owner shut the server down without warning, and seemingly fell off the face of the earth. Players and staff from the server could only speculate what happened, or what he did as even staff no idea, but that is a story for another time
As the player base of the orginal server began to fizzile out little by little, to it was just 4 people on a small server, from the orginal 100 or more from the beggining. I began to work on builds and post them here. Such as my first ever post here on PMC
At this time I had built goofy looking vehicles here and there, but mostly stuck to building and stuff like this build here
Sometime around after that My building style underwent a major change. When I began to find realistic looking builds, and cities, particular Lapis point by Yazur. I began to try to mimic that style, all tho not very well :P With builds such as this locomotive
\
But I still mostly like to building structures as I had a thing for ornate architecture, and built things like these.
I mostly liked to build mining equipment and machinery. Such as the Big muskie seen here
Around this time I built a pack of vehicle that still holds as my most popular uploads =D
I also got into a groove of building HUGE vehicles in attempt to squeeze in lots of little details, which I ironically never added in, nor finished lol
I eventually took a lengthy break from PMC for some time, and played other games, and did other things. When I came back I began to focus on building vehicles this time, and took some time to refine my details. such as with these locomotives
It was around this time I morphed into DreamWanderer as you know me "Hello There!"; =D My username actually comes from a MLP Oc of mine, of the same name, which I sort have adopted as a persona ponysona of sorts
I always liked to look around at other builds for inspiration, and look for ideas on building. Which is when I came across Captain_JEK and his vehicle builds, and he was a big inspiration to me, along with a few others .
Also around this time I found Jim55 and his vehicle builds, and he finally convinced me to "join the dark side" and build my vehicles on a larger scale.
Over the next couple of years I worked on my building style if you want to call it that lol. And a few hundred vehicle builds later. That bring us to where I am at now today. I never would have imagined I would make 200 subscribers, Much less a little over 2,312 as I type this! I can not thank you all enough for all the support you have given me. I hope I can build for another 10 years in the future.... That is about how long it will take me to finish all the builds I have on my to do list :P

This is amazing.
It's so nice to read about people's history on this site.
