Hi and welcome to a tutorial how to make a 3d character or 3d character avatar like mine.
To make a 3d character do you need:
Nova Skin
If you want to edit it and set it in a photo you need a program like gimp, photoshop mmm..
If you want to make a 3d character avatar you need:
Nova Skin
Gimp or Photoshop or Paint.Net
I don't recommend paint from windows.

Go to www.novaskin.com and take your minecraft skin.
To find your skin is easy.
You can have it on your computer.
Or you find it at PMC.
Or you can go in to this site minecraft-skin-viewer.com and write the minecraft name you want to find the skin you are looking for. You click on the character skin that you want and click download and click download skin.
Or if you don't want to spend some time doing the 3d character you can download 3d base from there.
Okey now you have download the skin you want and then go to nova skin and start this!
Start:
1. Click upload. (This is not going to upload the skin to the gallery.)

2. Then it will bring upp a window there you will select your skin that you want to be 3d.

3. Now its going to load the skin and you will see your skin like a 3d character.

If you want your skin standing like this you can go to step 6
4. If you want to change the skin's pose you click on pose

There you will find a window there you can change the pose.
5. When you are done with the pose you can do so it holds an item.
Go to "Hold Right or Hold Left" And take the thing you want.

6. Now is the pose done and now you want to have the 3d character now.
You will now click photo. (Be secure and not drag your mouse on Character when you go to the photo tab!)

And it will take the a photo of the character.
And save the image as..
Save the photo on your desktop.

7. Now you will open up gimp or photoshop... (I use gimp, its free)
8. Now you can take the background color you want and thats done.
If you want to set the image to another image can you do that, just copy the image.
9. If you want to make an avatar of the image just do the start of step 8 when you take background color.
And you need now is a tool who you can cropp with and you must find a good spot on the image that you want.
And the area you need is 184 x 184 cm on the image. if you want you can just size it down to 184 x 184 cm if you want your whole character. If you don't find a good spot you need to size down the width to 184 cm or you can take another number.. Save the image after you are done.

10. LAST STEP! Now go to pmc and go to account and click change avatar and take the image that you have done in gimp or photoshop...
11. If you come this far i say im proud of you!
