Hi guys, I thought I'd write a story up. Tell me what you think. This is the first "story" I have actually ever written, so hope you enjoy it.

It was quick and painless...well at least for him. Mareak lay the body to rest and was gone before the guards had realized what had happened. The only evidence of another person being in the room was a tiny piece of metal stuck on the wall, in the shape of a letter M.

As Mareak lept out the window to the neighbouring roof top, he realized how much he had changed. This was his fifth mission, in less than 3 months. What has he become?

Racing silently across the roof tops in the cool summer breeze reminded him of his wife, Eliza. She loved nights like these. What is happening to me, he thought as he quietly dropped down from the roof into a well rehearsed roll. He can't be thinking about this stuff right now, his first priority is to leave the town.

He dashed through the dark streets until he saw the docks. A tiny row boat was tied up neatly in the corner of the docks, it rocked gently as Mareak sneaked in. He quickly untied the knot and gave a great push as he drifted into the ocean.

A new city, a new beginning...a new target.
