Yay, a screenshot! :D Thanks, Rawwk for the idea!
Sorry about the weird formatting. This new formatting interfered with the old stuff.
Before I even start writing, the server IP is mc.zambies.net
Thanks for the pop reel! Hopefully this will get more people enthused about MC Zambies!
MC Zambies is a really great server. You start by joining one of their 3 current maps and fighting off waves of zombies, be it alone or in a team. You start with nothing but a bow (PRO TIP: Pull it back all the way or else it won't work.) and as you level up by killing zombies, you unlock more and more weapons and gear. You can by these helpful items with coins that you get from killing zombies.
There are currently 4 types of zombies:
- Villager zombies
These are just your average zombies, but don't underestimate their power in groups.
- Baby Zombies
These things are fast and hard to hit. They will penetrate your front line of defense and kill everybody if you don't watch out for them.
- Darkbones
These are custom-made crosses between wither skeletons and zombies. They are like normal zombies, but they give you wither. These are worth watching out for. The Darkbones give more exp and coins than baby zombies and villager zombies.
- Nightmares
These are zombie horses that deal massive damage and will kill you in a matter of seconds if they get to close. The Nightmares give the most exp and coins.
You can also perform a "Takedown" move by right-clicking zombies with an empty hand. This kills the zombie, but paralyzes you for a couple seconds afterward. "Takedowns" award bonus exp and coins.
--Special Items--
There are a lot of special items. I split them up into 3 different groups: Grenades, Support, and Annoying/Donator stuff.
:0: Grenades
- Molotov Cocktails (Explode on contact into a huge burst of flame).
- Scatter Bombs (Once they hit the ground, there is a slight delay, and afterwards, it splits into a lot of small bombs that blow up on contact).
- Gas Grenades (Small delay after hitting the ground and then poison zombies in the area when it explodes).
- Airstrikes (After hitting the ground there will be a good delay and a firework will go up. Bombs will rain into the area for enough time to kill 1 wave of zombies, if they are grouped together).
:0: Support
- Sentry Gun (Once placed, will turn into a snow golem that stands still and shoots zombies until it runs out of ammo).
- Fire Buff (Once placed, it can be right clicked to gain a fire aspect/flame buff to anything you shoot or hit for a few minutes. Also applies to placed sentry guns during this duration).
- Protective Vests (Once placed, it can be right clicked to gain two absorbtion hearts).
- First - Aid Kit (You can right click a teammate with this in your hand to heal them).
- Pain Pills (You can right click a teammate with this in your hand to heal them).
- Splash Potion (Throw it on the ground to heal yourself and/or teammates in a small radius of where it hits).
- Teleporter (Right click to place a waypoint and when you're in trouble, left click to teleport there).
:0: Annoying/Donator
The Entertainer (An annoying jukebox that dissapears when you place it and plays annoying minecraft music).
Summoning Items (Summmons a mob to fight for you for an indefinite period of time).
--Upgrades/Perks--
Perks - You unlock these by leveling you can have one Tier I, one Tier II, and one Tier III perk.
Upgrades - You get one 'SP' per level to spend on permanent upgrades on yourself or your weapons.
Other stuff - You can equip two ranged weapons, one melee weapon, two tactical items, one support item, and the perks of your choice. To even be able to equip these, you have to unlock them first by attaining a required level. Once they are unlocked, you may or may not buy them with coins.
At the time of writing, there are 3 maps: Dust, Nuketown, and Resort. Each map has it's own bosses that spawn every 10 waves. For Dust, it is the Jumping Jello (A giant slime). For Nuketown, it is the Wither Forecast (A wither that spews bunches of weather forecasts while it shoots wither heads, although I'm not sure what the forecasts mean). And finally, for Resort, It is the snow witch (A witch that shoots damaging snowballs).
- You have to donate to have access to Tier II/III perks.
- It gets a bit laggy

Nightmares give more EXP but Darkbones give the most EXP.
There are also bosses, different ones for each map.
Nightmares give 8 exp and Darkbones 12 exp. [Might be wrong]
