Hello people of PMC welcome back to our regular scheduled program as it says in the title, might interview other people eventually who knows. Anyways for this week we start of with quite the story. A brother and sister take their strange problem to court after 8 years. The sister had been breaking to into his brothers home multiple times throughout these years simply to clean his room. The sister claimed that she had no other choice since the siblings did not clean their rooms. The brother and another sibling claimed that she used to come in at around 9 pm but would now enter at odd hours of the day sometime between 10 or 11 pm returning to her own home around 3 or 6 am. The sister claimed that “I need work, my own schedule. I got to go according to my own schedule, my free time. I cannot say, you want me to come at 8am, means 8am. I'm not their maid, I'm not their worker.” The siblings would not be able to sleep due to her coming at late hours and they would often rush to lock their rooms as soon as possible to prevent her from giving her odd service, even if they did lock the door she would find any other means of getting into their room. Eventually after many of these events the brother had attacked her because of the stress she was causing. After the sister stated that their uncleanliness had been attracting pests the judge said that there was no evidence showing that there were pests or even that it was dirty enough to attract them. After the case the court gave both siblings orders the brother received a personal protection order and a partial domestic exclusion and the sister received a personal protection order against her brother. Me personally I never thought id see a situation in which someone would get mad at someone cleaning for them for free but I can see why lol. How would yall react if your sibling was cleaning your room in the middle of the night?

Our next story is a little less amusing a group of 43 macaques escaped a South Carolina medical lab called Alpha Genesis. The monkeys escaped the facility on Wendsday because an new employee did not close the door correctly and the monkeys simply took advantage of this mistake. According to the lab all the monkeys are females that are very young and they weigh around 7 pounds. The lab is trying to recover the monkeys by setting up traps, and using thermal imaging cameras. The police have told the people who live near the facility to close their windows and doors so the monkeys cant find a place to hide. A group called Stop animal exploitation now is asking the the USDA to treat the labarotary as a repeated offender since theyve had multiple cases of monkeys escaping. 26 monkeys escaped during 2014 and 19 of them escaped during 2016. The leader of the group states “The clear carelessness which allowed these 40 monkeys to escape endangered not only the safety of the animals, but also put the residents of South Carolina at risk,” Michael Budkie, the executive director of the group, wrote in the Thursday morning letter.” And a biologist named Eve Cooper has stated that even if they monkeys are not sick that people should stilll be careful and not approach the monkeys and still call 911 because when under stress and fear the macques can be extremley agressive and unpredictable. Id also like to add that this organization has had a past in not following the proper regulations to quote one of the articles “In a 2022 review, federal veterinarians reported two animals died when their fingers were trapped in structures and they were exposed to harsh weather. They also found cages weren’t adequately secure. Inspectors said criminal charges, civil penalties or other sanctions could follow if the problems weren’t fixed. Since then, Alpha Genesis has undergone six inspections with minor problems reported only once. In January 2023, the USDA said temperatures were out of the 45 to 85 degree Fahrenheit (7.2 to 29.5 degree Celsius) required range at some of the compound’s monkey cages. The inspection found moldy food in one bin, sharp edges on a gate that could cut an animal and sludge, food waste, used medical supplies, mechanical equipment, and general construction debris on the grounds.”

I’d like to apologies that there isnt atleast more than 2 stories this week but there was a bunch of stuff I had to do this week and I was procrastinating today when i finally had to time to finish. But anyways I hope yall had a good week and a good weekend adios.
