Hello, and welcome to Minecraft build school. A place where I will show you how to be the very best like no one ever was. The two things you'll need to get past in this Blog are my long writing pieces and my use of gaming terms. Today we'll take a look at the build style of the famous Youtuber "Grain". To first understand his build style you'll need to understand the words mixture, texture, and vibe. These are the three words he exclaims turns his build from having nothing to look at to something great. Fist let's look at mixture. The way Grain uses mixture is by comparing his builds materials to real life materials. E.g he would compare a temple wall to one seen in real life, most likely realizing he needs to fix the design of the block. It will still keep its temple like style but will give you more too look at if you replace the 100% sandstone with 60% sandstone, 10% sand, 25% sandstone:2, 5% sandstone stairs. As seen in the image below there is multiple uses of mixture from using different blocks to create a over all great look in what could have been a bad design.
A temple themed tower
To understand texture you'll have too do the same as mixture but at depth. Do this by adding shape, E.g on a wall breaking a whole to show damage, or add stairs to resemble missing bricks. Other ways to put the idea of 3D texture is to add nooks and cracks in a normally plain floor, but remember depth is usless without

Finally we have vibe, now this is hard to explain clearly so bare with me. Vibe is the setting a build sets as a whole. If there are multiple buildings then they all set a vibe creating a environmental vibe, if some builds seem out of place the vibe will be ruined. If the buildings are also too alike the vibe will be ruined.it may take some time but try experimenting with different designs for the world until you feel it sets a vibe you would want in that type of area. E.g I would not add yellow or purple colors in a forest area cause it would ruin the forest theme and give me a vibe that dosent fit what the creator is trying to push. If doing a forest stick with darker grey colors, medium brown colors, and multiple shades of green. This image showing such as an earthquake.

That's all the time I have for today be sure to visit tomorrow for more build styles in "Minecraft Build School"!

Hello and welcome to Minecraft Build School. This is where I teach you how to be the very best like no one ever was. Today where taking a look at my build style. Now I know you wanted a highly reputable youtuber build style build I'll save that for tomorrow. The way I build is Viewing. You may ask your self "what viewing, what's he talking about". Well I'm talking about viewing an object of photo and seeing a design element of it and adding it to my build and basing most of my build around that look. Here's an example of a random photo I found online that had a rather interesting look.

And yes it is a carpet. First I look at the design elements and saw a simple Ancient temple pattern giving me a Ancient vibe for the build. Next I took a look at the color scheme seeing a light brown to egg shell pattern. Using the vibe of the image and the color scheme I was able to start to crate a build. For the build I'd need one more thing, a idea. The way I find build ideas out of anything (even carpet) is by standing back and getting a better perspective on the photo, then seeing what it would look good as. If you don't believe your creative enough maby even try just thinking of similar themes like I did by saying it had a Ancient vibe. But I'm telling you visualizing what it would fit with is some much more useful. After all this info is gathered I would most likely end up with a build something like the one below.

Well thank you for joining me again and see you next time in th Minecraft Build School community.

Hello and welcome to Minecraft Build School where I will teach you how to be the very best like no one ever was. Today is our 4th last night here at the Build School but it might not be if We get enough support. Also today we are going to take a look at the build style of FyreUK. Now I know he has not posted in nearly two years but still that dose not change the fact that there legends in building. Remember if you want a specific youtuber tomorrow just comment down below.
To start you can tell FyreUK is big on bigger builds. They use there size to increase detail in the build. But remember if you make the build too big it becomes unusable as a player for a home, or any object you could use. To know what I mean view the photos below.

This is a regular usable house

This is a larger more detailed but barely usable house.

This house has the most detail but you can't even go inside.
if you understand today's lesson, the bigger the more detailed, the smaller the more vanilla friendly. But "Vanilla friendly" I mean: your able to sleep in, go inside, and have other needs. Which the larger builds don't have, yet smaller dose. That is why when I build I use a neutral size for my house: meaning it fits some but not all of the small house criteria. Any way that is how to build like FyreUK, if you use the big build criteria. for more questions on the "Size to function" ratio rite them in the comments, bye and see you next time.

Hello new welcome back to Minecraft Build School where I teach you to be the very best like no one ever was. Today we are going to take a look at the build style of ADHDcraft. ADHDcraft is a youtuber who recreates things seen in games and shows inside of minecraft. Today where going to look at how he dose it. When I started watching him he had nearly no subs and 4 videos, one of them being Orange knight from castle crashers. Below is a picture of that character.

Here is his end result. ( from a near 2D perspective)

As you can see he had fully recreated it as a minecraft skin, but with some technique. He mearlly modles a minecraft skin pixel by pixel then adds a head design, which is what he states it the most important. After so adds some but not too much shading as design details to the head. Then using the heads design he crates the rest of the body. By this I mean he uses and try's to recreate the colours, shades, and vibe of the head. Finally he proof checks the build to see if it is reasonable, by doing something I would highly recommend. He lets his friends view and tell him if the build is worth sharing with others. If not he totally scaps the build and restarts, though I don't agree with redoing a whole build I do agree with sharing your build with friends before anyone else so that you get a sense of others reactions and can prevent them. Anyway that is all the time I had to day, if you want to see more hit that subscribe button like Its your unwanted baby, and I'll see you in the next one.

Hello and welcome back to Minecraft Build School where I teach you how to be the very best like no one ever was. And today where covering the build style of Sammy. Who is this? Well even I don't know and to be truthful I don't think we ever will, but Sammy has made some great maps over the years so I'm doing him anyway . His build style is simple, meaning less typing for me and less reading for you, Thank the lord.Any way his build style is a style I use while drawing and is quite simple since he only dose pixel art. Just made a circle, shade in the corners, draw the eyes, create anything else, add color, than a stain glass overlay. Obviously I was kidding when i said simple. To do so image there head as a circular shape, build that in 2d in minecraft. After so then add facial details. Then shade. Got it. Good cause I'm not typing that again. Any way since that's simple enough let's just look at some of his fabulous work.

Second picture. (Sad Pokemon)

Final picture. (Simplistic but perfect)

And that's all the time we have for today, I'm sorry it wasn't more detailed but I couldn't have been without ruining the wording.
Anyways see you guys next time on the Minecraft Build School, bye.

I haven't read the whole thing, but I think pixel arts are not the way to "improve" your building skills. Since for me it looks bad whatever you do to it(opinion tho). I would prefer the 3d organics. And also, the wall on the 2nd image lacks block variation, which you covered on the 1st part.

About the vibe part. I think the image is opposite to the text ur saying. Since you wouldn't just add a red on the top layer of the earth. I'd prefer if it'll be on the very bottom part, since it'll fit the "vibe" (This applies if, as u said, its "earthquake")

Also, the blog needs to be more neat. Tidy it up a little.

Just wanna add, Im a good builder. That might make u believe me :P

Good Blog tho(I only read the half. Its hard to read since its not that tidy)

looks gud :)
Perhaps you could talk about your personal builds and pick them apart, i would find that real intresting :)
I'll try that on tomorrow because I have something planned for today
Post any questions you may have about this topic, or any suggestions for youtubers that have a different build style
