Hello, Elite here back with another blog! Today, I'm going to be giving you tips on fighting hostile mobs in minecraft! Lets get started!
If you have been playing minecraft for atleast a day you probably know what a mob is, if you dont, mobs are "moving game entities" and mobs are seperated into 6 parts; the passive mobs, the hostile mobs, the utility mobs, the tamable mobs, the neutral mobs and the boss mobs. Today I'm going to be sharing information on tips on killing these! So that this blog dosent get super long i will be putting information in a spoiler (1 mob = 1 spoiler) so lets get started! (if I have put something like "Zombie/Zombie Villager" it means that they go for both mobs because of the similarity and because the way you fight and kill them is similar. Putting it out there in case of any confusion)

Blaze
First things first, how do blazes attack?
Blazes attack using small fireballs that can cause a fire wherever it lands, meaning it can set you on fire and the blocks around you too.
A simple way to kill blazes is snowballs, this might seem weird but per snowball that hits a blaze it will cause 3 damage per hit. So I'd recommend you to get a few snowballs before going into the nether. Since the blaze's shots are as inaccurate as a dispensers its not like you can get hit every time. However, blaze fireballs will go in the same speed where as in dispensers it will start of slow and accelarate as it starts to travel more blocks.

Chicken Jockey, Zombie and Zombie Villagers
Chicken Jockey, Zombie and Zombie Villagers are literally all the same; they are zombies that go after you when seen, upon revealing itself to sunlight it will set itself on fire slowly killing itself, if you are at night the easiest thing is to jump and sprint at it while countiniously swinging your sword, this way, the zombie will get critical damage and will get knocked back, meaning the chances of it hitting you is slim to none.
Creeper
Creepers are rather hard to deal with as they like to sneak upto you from behind and BOOM! you and the environment around in a radius of around 5 is destroyed! However, it is super easy to deal with if you can see it before it tries to blow you up (NOTE: you can hear a hiss before a creeper explodes) For fighting this mob, what you have to do is smack it and back off, otherwise it will blow up, once you back away it might go into being white and about to explode. which it wont. after getting back to its regurlar self you can smack it and back off again, by repeating this method you can kill a creeper with no fear! if you have a blade stronger than iron, what you can do is the same method as the zombie; sprinting and jumping while silmutaniously swinging your sword, this way you'll be dealing enough damage to kill it, and because of how quickly you kill it, it wont get the time to explode itself, which has the potential to 1 hit KO you unless you have full iron armor or full diamond armor.
Elder Guardian/Guardian
Both the Elder Guardian and the Guardian mob attack by shooting laser beams at its opponent. These 2 mobs are located at an ocean temple and are very hard to kill, specially since the elder guardian inflicts you with Mining Fatigue III which lasts for 5 minutes. Before you go off killing these I highly recommend getting all diamond amor with Unbreaking III and Protecion IV. as for sword, get atleast Sharpness V on it. There is no strategy to fight this beast you just have to yolo. (it'd help to go in and attack these mobs with friends)
Endermite/Silverfish
These can be found when you brake blocks in extreme hills and in strongholds (only for silverfish) as for endermite, they can spawn randomly when you throw an ender pearl, they also spawn rarely when enderman teleport. KIling these are super easy as 2 hits from a naked hand can kill these, so yeah, i wouldnt be worried about fighting them using a fish too. XD
Ghast
Ghasts randomly spawn in the nether, easiest way to kill these is to wait for them to attack you using fireballs, when a fireball is sent your way, hit it back and hope it hits the ghast. A more easier way of killing it is, bow and arrows. Hit a ghast with 1 fully charged arrow and its dead. (you can also use a fishing rod, reel it in and finish it of with a sword)
Killer Bunny
Once these mobs find you in a 16x16 radius it will hop towards you and attack you. These things hit like a truck and can 2 hit KO a naked person (in other words, player with no armor). Even though these things hit lik a truck, they are SUPER weak. 2 hits from an iron sword can kill it. so make sure it dosent hit you and hit it instead. (seeing these things is like, a lifetime opportunity as these are super rare, Not sure about there spawning rate)
Magma Cube/Slime
These things work very similarly. Except Magma cubes spawn in the nether, where as slimes spawn in the swamp and in slime chunks. these things can be in 4 different sizes, big, medium, small, tiny. The big one upon death will divide itself to 2 medium ones, upon death of a medium one they will divide it self to 2 small ones and so on... They will try and pounce you from above/behind and make sure the opposite happens where you pounce them from above.
Skeleton
The mob skeleton will spawn at night, killing them is fairly easy. 1 way of killing them is to circle around, circle around it and hit it silmutaniously, this way the arrows it shoots wont be hitting as skeletons suck at aiming. The 2nd way is: YOLO! no seriously it does work quite well, just charge straight in and you will get around 0-1 arrows in your body.
Spider Jockey
The Spider Jockey is quite a fascinating mob, it is the fusion of a spider and a skeleton. It can attack both from a distance and from close up. The Spider Jockey is programmed to run towards you and attack you (feature of the spider) and while its running towards you, it will shoot you with arrows (feature of the skeleton). Easiest way to defeat it is to kill the skeleton first using a bow and then charging straight in to kill the spider. Or you can just yolo in and take down 2 of them together, though I would'nt recommend that.
Wither Skeleton
The Wither Skeleton is a rare mob found in nether fortresses. It will attack you with a stone sword and upon hitting you will effect you with Wither IV (i think) the best thing to do is to kill it using bow and arrows.
Witch
Just like the Wither Skeleton, Witch is a rare mob However it is found a little bit more often. Witches have a battling "pattern" First, they hit you with a potion of weakness and poison. After that, they will silmutaniously hit you with potions of instant damage. Easiest/best way to kill this mob is to use bows, because of the small range of the potions Witches cant hit you if your far away from it, backing of and spamming it with arrows seems to work for me perfectly.
