Another idea: custom paintings. I know that this is a tired old idea but I've got a new spin on it. The crafting recipe is nine colored wools laid out in a crafting bench. The finished product is a 1x1 painting with the nine different wools displayed in a 3x3 grid. The colors you laid out are preserved in their arrangement on the final piece, as means to decorate with smaller increments than the blocks themselves. The idea is to make cool scenery with multiple frames, pixel art murals, fancy messages written out largely on walls. Imagine the level of detail you could add to your houses or maps, like flat screen televisions, railing on your balcony, stripes, poles. The crafting recipe should also include the option of glass to make a null or see through portion of the frame. Placed on a block, would allow the block to be seen through the picture. Placed on glass would make the frame look through the block. Unlike item frames, these new picture frames should take up the whole block surface in size, so that when placed next to each other, the 1 pixel outline would be flush next to another. If this is something that has already been done in a mod, or an idea that has already been thought of, let me know. But if a modder would like to make this, then that would be awesome.
