Minecraft projects - the new way sucks

Does everybody here noticed that if we make an great project in Minecraft, like texture packs, maps, mods...
It will only be recognized if it has a Beatiful picture in the post edited in photoshop , great projects are made everyday, but they are not recognized, one examples is mine map " Travel to center of earth ".
This map took me 2 months to doing,I expected a great number of comments and downloads, but i got only one comment ( thanks for the person that comment ) and only 47 downloads, just because I don't have a beatiful picture with epic sunrise, or with great texture pack edited, I tought making a video to demonstrate the begging of the map was an good idea,but seems the video need to be Very edited -_-

I agree, i posted a New Map where i worked over 3 Months on and it's getting 100 views, while a stupid 3 minute esceape the hospital map getting over 3000 views...THIS is a example.

It's not anyone's fault. People are attracted to good names and pictures. Your name "Travel to center of earth" isn't exactly good grammar, and the picture doesn't have anything to do with the map, it's only a snowy forest. Learn to make nice pictures and make sure the pictures relate to the map directly. If you look at my submission, it's a picture that shows the whole project, and is lightly edited with a title and a bit of fog.

Well what you told it's true, if you notice my grammar is bad because I am not english, I am brazilian, I try to do my best, and I don't get photoshop or any tool about editing, so that's why I was complaining,If you try to help me I'll be very glad, I will accept any tips you give to me, If you want add me on skype;

yeah i personaly like the normal minecraft style maybe with some light boost if the picture is dark but now people always overdo it and everybody is making overedited pictures
