Mine- what?

"wait what is this" a voice said. " I don't know, Jack, what do you think?" a separate voice said. " well it looks like a book, I guess?" Jack replied. "thanks! How helpful I never would have guessed that it was a book." the first voice replied sarcastically. "you're welcome, Wjdash" Jack said also sarcastically. "guys shut up!" a different voice said. "you shut up, Duncan!" said Wjdash. Duncan replied, "just open it" "fine" Wjdash replied snootily. They opened the book and it was titled on the cover, A Rogue Diary. "Woah!" they all said in unison. "Jack read it" Duncan said. "why do I always have to read stuff?" Jack replied. "just read it" Wjdash said. "fine" Jack said.

Entry 1

Hey, so I have to write this very quickly for I only have a little bit of time. So it all started back during the spring break. I was just chilling and decided to play some Minecraft like I normally do. I went on and it said there was an update so I thought hmm, that's strange. There was just an update a few weeks ago. Well, whatever. I went ahead and updated it, but it said version 7.4.3 instead of 1.3 or 1.3.3 or, whatever. When I updated, everything was all futuristic-y and the game was so advanced. Everywhere I turned there were new things - new animals, bugs, geckos, birds, anything you could imagine. But I only got to play for 20 minutes or so when I came across some really strange block. I thought hmm maybe it's like a Neather or End portal. It was in a clearing that was about 20 by 20 blocks. It was red with these horn like spikes coming out of each side. There were a few strange markings on them, one looked like letters but it didn't spell anything. There was also this weird purple/blue haze streaming out of the center of a small black hole in the middle of the block. I tried to break the block with a new item I discovered that was sort of like a drill but shot out a laser type thing. I did that for a while but it never broke so I decided to touch it. Big mistake. All of a sudden the edge of my screen started to turn black, then my eyesight did the same until the blackness completely obscured my vision. I started to sweat and I felt like I had just run a marathon non-stop until the strain was just to much. I fainted.

"interesting, keep reading" Wjdash said. "shhh," Jack replied. "I will, "ok, ok, I'll stop talking" said Wjdash.

I woke up, when? I don't know but somehow I was outside. Right away my eyes adjusted to the sunlight, woah!Everything was blocks. Everywhere I looked there were blocks, block tree's, block animals, everything! Gears clicked and pieces were put together in my head. Minecraft. I was in Minecraft. I was in Minecraft. Wow, I took a few moments to realize what was happening and let it all sink in. I looked at my hands wait, what! My hands were blocks too, but not as blocky. Instead of 64 by 64 pixels I was 128 by 128. I even had fingers, but I was still blocky. Suddenly everything started getting dark and I felt exhausted until I couldn't feel my hands. I blacked out.

Chapter 1/ Entry 1.5

I woke up. Again. Wait, again why did I think that? I shook my head. Oh no, oh no, I'm losing my memory. I started to feel pressure on my head and eventually around the rest of my body and it went numb. I could still see for a while and decided to look out at the sun, the block sun, setting in the west. It started to go black around the edge of my vision and I took in the tree's, the pig off in the distance, the blocky grass beneath my feat. Why, why does this have to happen to me, why? I blacked for the third time.

Who am I? What am I? Where am I? All I remember is my name. Wait my name. My name is Kevin. Kevin Astrello (as-trell-oh). Where am I? This world is, blocky. Wait is that normal, or am I mistaken? Hmm, it must be, why would it not be? Well, whatever. Now that I think of it I don't even know what I look like. I got up and looked around for any source of water like a pool or lake or anything. I walked for about three minutes when I came across a huge lake or an ocean. I walked over to the lake/ocean, the grass crunching under my feat. It seems as though nobody had walked on it for years. I got to the lake/ocean and looked in the water and saw my reflection. I had short, croppy, black hair. Greenish-brown eyes and a few freckles under my eyes. I washed my face and drank some of the water by cupping it in my blocky hand. I looked over to my right and saw a girl. Hmm maybe she knows what's going on or maybe she could just keep me company, I thought. She was probably as old as me. Wow, I don't even know my own age. I walked over to her, she was laying face down in the sand of the beach probably unconscious.

I waited with the new girl for a while waiting for her to wake up. She had bright, long, blond hair, and she was probably two or three inches taller than me.

She woke up about half an hour later. She also had bright blue eyes with a tint of silvery sparkle. "what's your name?" I asked. "my name is Jessica, Jessica Hunter" Jessica replied. "but you can call me Jess". "okay, Jess" I said. " my name is Kevin but you can call me, well, Kevin". "Do you know where we are?" Jess asked. "sorry, no, I was going to ask you the same question" I replied. "darn it" she said. "Well maybe we could find somebody who did know where we were" Jess said hopefully. "maybe, hopefully, then maybe we could figure out some other stuff as well" I replied. "let's go searching for people" Jess said. "yah, let's go" I replied. So that was how me and Jessica became friends. We set off on our adventure.

We traveled for an hour or two, along the coastline, when it started to get dark and we were getting hungry. We noticed some sheep, up on a hill. Eight to be exact. We went up to them and tried to get the wool off them. We couldn't get it off so I punched one in disgust. Sure enough, it fell over in a puff of smoke and there was a small piece of wool spinning some how defying gravity and floating up and down. I walked over to it and suddenly flew towards me and disappeared when it touched me. "what the heck?" I said confused. "where did it go?" Jess asked. "I don't know" I replied. "it seemed like it went in my pocket.". I tried feeling the inside of my pockets. But there wasn't anything there. I unfurled my pockets but still nothing. I wish I could see what was in my pockets I thought. Suddenly, I saw a bunch of squares all in rows, and four in the top right corner of my eyesight. But in the bottom row of squares there was a gap and 9 squares. In the first square was the block of wool. I thought my pockets closed and my vision was back to normal.

"are you ok Kevin?" asked Jess. "ugh, I don't know my vision got covered when I thought of opening my pocket" I replied. "what did it look like?" Jess asked. You can see for yourself, just ask yourself to see your pockets or, whatever" I said. "ok" she said. I just watched her standing there looking dazed. I waved my hand in front of her face to she if she would see it. She didn't seem to notice. I looked into my inventory when- wait I thought it was my 'inventory?' hmm I guess I could call it that. I tried to imagine my 'inventory' closed and sure enough, it closed. I went back to my inventory and re-noticed the piece of wool in the corner of my inventory so I put out my arm and tried to grab it. I reached over and clenched my hand on the wool spaces and when I opened my hand it was in it. I pulled it into the first of my nine slots on the bottom of my inventory and it appeared in my hand in the real world. I decided to call the 9 slots that were down the farthest my quick slots or my QS. So I exited my inventory and saw Jess doing the same thing I was doing to her. She was waving her hand in my face. After a second, she realized I wasn't in my inventory so she pulled her hand away and put it behind her back. She looked towards the ground and blushed.

We went to the other sheep and started pounding on them. Although we got all the wool, it was harder to kill the sheep. It took 5 or 6 hits instead of just one for the rest. I assumed that the sheep must've been already hurt or something. We walked back to the shore and I splashed my hands in the water and so did Jess. I noted that it was starting to get darker because the sun was setting, but I didn't really care to much, I mean it's just night. Right?

We then started walking along the coastline again. We couldn't see very well in the darkness, so we stopped and rested. "Let's stay here for the night, so we don't trip or anything." Jess suggested. "sure, maybe we could try like, building a shelter." I replied. "I'm gonna see if I can cut down part of this tree" I said. I thought that maybe if I could hit the tree it would break like the sheep did. Maybe I had superpowers, unless that's normal. I walked up to the tree and hit it with a karate chop. Nothing happened. I hit it again with my fist, it cracked, then it un-cracked. I didn't actually feel anything when I hit it, but my arm still felt a little tired. I hit it 5 times in a row and it broke, and there was a floating tree with a meter by a meter sized hole in it and then a stump. The same thing happened where the block flew into my pocket this time it went in my second slot of the QS's when I checked it in my inventory. Since it was in my QS I wondered how I could access it. I tried thinking it into my hand and then it was in my hand. I thought my wool into my hand, and it was, cool, so now I can always have my stuff when I just think about it. I tried putting the wood into my inventory that was not my QS, and getting it when I was out of my inventory, but it didn't work. Oh well, it doesn't matter I'll just have to move everything into my QS. I broke the stump of the tree and checked my inventory, for some reason I still only had one wood icon. Then I looked at it more closely and realized, there was a little number in the bottom right corner of the icon. It said I had two. I dug the rest of the tree and the leaves started disappearing. I had six wood, so I tucked that away, wondering what I would do with it. I wondered if I could place it. I thought that placing would be the same as destroying, only I would not break anything. So I just placed it like anything I would I just let go of it. It appeared there so I was happy. I destroyed it and took it back to where Jess was I saw her dazed just standing there so I guessed she was doing something with her inventory.

I placed to logs from the tree next to each other and sat down. I waited a while and lay down and I started to fall asleep when I felt a tap. I saw Jess but she was holding something in her hand. It looked like a table or something. "what is that?" I asked. "oh, this? It's called a crafting table." she replied. "wait, how do you know it's name?" I asked. "it says right on top, here" she replied. She pointed above a three by three square of nine blocks and there was a carving that said crafting table. "where'd you find it?" I asked, surprised. "I didn't find it I made it." she replied. "How'd you make it?" I asked. "go to your inventory and you'll see four blocks in a two by two box and then a single box next to it. You have to put a piece of wood in one of the four boxes. Then you look at the single box and out pops four wooden planks. You take the wooden planks and put them in all four of the boxes and out pops a crafting table." she explained. "I also figured out that if you put two wooden planks, one on top of the other, than four sticks come out." she said. "Awesome" was my reply to that, just awesome.

I told her about the tree and stuff. "well, I sort of already know about that" she replied. "what? How?" I stuttered. "Well how do you think I made all of this?". She asked. She motioned to the crafting table and held out the sticks. "true" I said. Wow I must've sounded really dumb. I looked at the crafting table and thought it open. My vision was obscured by the same kind of array of my inventory square's except that instead of there being four square's then one square at the top, there was a three by three set of squares. I reduced my wood into wooden planks when all of a sudden I was exhausted and couldn't see straight I started to fall over so I grabbed the wooden planks and blacked out.

When I woke up I remembered about what happened to me and how I lost my memory. I could remember everything. I quickly got out some sticks and scratched onto my arm, you are in a world called Minecraft. After that I looked up then I looked down then I spun around I even turned upside down. Everything, everywhere, was black. I started to feel light headed and felt exhausted, but right before I fainted I noticed a voice and saw light. "subject three through nine have been sent to intercept and 'be-friend' subject's one and two" said a man's voice "wait he's coming to, inject the serum into subject one." my eyes rolled back in my head and I blacked out.

I woke up in the arms of Jess. She was holding a sword in her right arm. It was just wooden so I didn't think it would do to much damage to anything. When I saw her eyes meet mine they were frantic and she was sweating. I looked up and saw these green monster's with red eyes and with faces of pure terror. I looked at there eyes, only they were emotionless. One of the things caught my eye and started walking toward me. It walked closer and I could see it more clearly it had absolutely no arms and it had four tiny stubs which were probably legs. As it got closer Jess swung her sword with such veracity and ferocity that all behind that blade would be cut in two like butter. She cut straight through the beast and it fell over in smoke and it left behind some kind of dust or maybe it's ashes. She stood up straight, panting and staring straight at the other beast. She looked back at me and got a dazed look and all of sudden, a different sword, also wooden, popped out of thin air and landed by my side. Jess got un-dazed and turned back around. I picked up the sword and held in my hand. It felt almost like my body was made to have a sword. I started heading over to where Jess was when she whispered "there are three more of these creeps behind us". "oh" I replied. I turned around in my tracks and shifted the sword in my hand. Jess started charging at the beasts and screamed out "rrrrraaaaaaahhhh!". I screamed out as well and I slashed and slashed at the beast and I caught one right in the neck and it fell over in a puff the second was just as easy to get. One stab in the chest and it puffed as well. There was only one left. I slashed out at it but it dodged my attack but I swept back and cut part of the beast's torso. It cried out and started hissing I stabbed at it but missed when BOOM!!!!! There was an explosion and felt like I was dying but I wasn't. Well at least I wasn't dead or hurt to badly. The thing had exploded when I got near it. Quickly realization hit me. "Jess!" I yelled. I ran over to her ignoring the pain in my thigh and left arm. I slashed and cut one a second before it exploded and it died. Jess was slashing out again and cut a beast in half and then spun around hit the beast in the side. The sword was stuck in the beast and it was sizzling and I jumped, sword in both hands and curved down and killed it. It fell over and dropped the dust stuff. I heard a THWAP! And I looked up and there was Jess with an arrow in her leg laying on the ground moaning.

I looked around, and half behind a tree, there was a skeleton with a bow and arrows and it had shot Jess. I rushed to it and it missed,me by a lot. It must have bad aim because it really failed. I cut its neck off and it kept shooting but really couldn't aim now and it didn't seem to see me. I cut off its legs then I cut it in half. It then fell over and died. I looked around one more time and didn't see anymore monsters. I rushed to the side of Jess and the arrow had disappeared and I noticed a small gash from the arrow. She seemed ok. I walked over to the small stump of wood I made and sat down. Right as I sat down, I felt the recent pain from the explosion of the beast. I felt a different pain that I had not noticed before. I turned my arm around so I was looking at my wrist. Immediately to the right of my wrist, there was a note or just writing, scratched on my arm. It said, you are in Minecraft.
