I created this planet minecraft account for the sole purpose of documenting my travels through the minecraft versions. I will start this blog posting expedition tommorow in Minecraft Infdev, a version only a few months before I started following the game. It's the oldest version I can legally obtain that will convert all the way to minecraft 1.13 and beyond. For the first 2 years I plan on playing the versions by the actual rease schedule because there are resonable gaps between veresions. However once I hit full release I am going to spend a minimum of a month in each version but probably lean towards the 2-3 months per version depending on how much content that version adds. Going to 1.13 from this point I'm guessing will take me 4 years, by then I will have another 8 or so updates to go through... It will take a minimum of 5 years to catch up to be on par with mojangs schedule.

  For now however, we are going to start small. Let's just make are goal to blog are way through the infdev version which is still 20 blogs. The version I will start on is infdev June 18, 2010. This was the first secret friday update. The next update avaliable is alpha v1.0.4 which was secret Friday 4. This was released July 8, 2010. Which is why I am going to do 20 blogs between these 2 updates because there were 20 days between these 2 updates. That was the general overview of what this blogging series will be. I hope you guys are as excited for this as I am.
