Hello there!



This is my first 'Tips & Tricks', and I'm planning on posting more and more. Anyway, this is an easy trick that I use in order to prevent my sugar cane plants from growing, when I don't want them to, or whenever I want them to stay at a specified height, and it's actually pretty easy!

Materials needed
- Sugar canes (Well, that's a suprise..)
- Strings (What spiders drop)
- A wall where your sugar canes are in front of (not even one block in between)

Tutorial

1. Make a wall next to the sugar cane plant.
   
2. Make sure the sugar cane plant is 1 block high
   
3. Now get a piece of string
   
4. Right-Click on the wall at a block above the sugar cane plant, like you're placing a block above the sugar canes.
   
5. That's it! Your sugar cane can't grow anymore. This is usually for decorative purposes.
