This is a SpawnPoint MC News 📰 Alert

An innovative new counselling project which aims to build better mental health amongst young people using the video game, Minecraft, is to be launched.

It has received funding from Comic Relief and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and is being run by the Children North East charity.

The ‘Tech for Good’ project is the brainchild of one of its Young People’s Service counsellors, Paul Hedley.

He saw that the game – which allows children to create a virtual version of almost anything they can imagine from castles, to cities to their own house or school – could be a really useful way of delivering therapeutic counselling.
