"How long does it take to harvest wheat?" said Steve. "There were skeletons under the trees. Its a dark oak forest. There are lots of mobs out there," Alex said. "Well, I need to finish chopping wood. Can ya craft us some bread for dinner Alex?" retorted Steve. "Ya ya, but hurry. Tonight is Friday the 13th, when Herobrine is gonna get ya!" said Alex, laughing after she said that. "Alex you know Herobrine is just a myth, right?" Steve said. "Haha. Of course," Alex said as she walked back to the house. Steve laughed to himself, and decided to take in everything that has happened so far.
      The dreadful outbreak of what they call, the "Hardcore Setting Masacre". An outbreak of mobs, something that had never before happened. Millions of players were killed. Steve was on this own, until he met Alex, in the year of update 1.8. It is now the year of update 1.18. Steve was only 15 when the Hardcore Setting Masacre happened. Now, he 25, and Alex 24, are surviving together.  Steve trains Alex in fighting, everyday. She thinks it is to kill mobs, but, Steve, deep down in his heart, still believes in Herobrine, even though he know Alex doesn't. "I should be heading back," he says to himself.
     "There a nice big stack of bread," said Alex to herself. There was a trickling sound coming from outside. Rain. A loud crack of thunder startled her. She was jumpy, because it was Friday the 13th. Deep down inside, she still believed in Herobrine, even though she knew Steve would think she was crazy. 
     "I'm back," said Steve as he walked in the door. "Welcome," said Alex as she gave Steve some bread and they sat down at the table. Alex kept looking back at the window.
    "Something wrong?" asked Steve. "No," said Alex. "I'm done." "Me too," said Steve. Alex felt like someone was watching them. She shook the thought out of her head and climbed into bed. She closed her eyes...

"CRASH!!!!!" 
    "What was that?!" yelled Steve "I don't know," said Alex. They both grabbed there swords and ran into the kitcen. And standing there, was Herobrine.
