Mistakes,Tips And Tricks In The Survival Games"
Moving around your opponent can make you take less hits so you're ready to fight another enemy. It can also help you take down a enemy with better gear then your own. And it take advantage
of lag and/or you're opponet panicking from a sneak attack as it'll be even harder for them to hit you.

I guess that's about it.
Now get out there and get called a hacker!
(You don't need to do much to get that title -.-)

I like the blog, but I tend not to horde items. It makes it so you have more room for food and things YOU need. Sure I would have multiple iron swords, but not stuff like chain armor if I have iron.

Why didn't you include that whoever gets the most hits will always win? O.o

The only thing I would say is wrong is the whole, armour and weapon. Because they actually ignore ALOT of damage... Sure there is skill but you'll win if you have the same level of strategy, plus this is the survival games so there won't be many MLG UBER 1337 players who will own you. But really the armour is just a psychological threat aswell.

I wasn't saying to think nothing of fighting someone with iron armor. I was saying that someone can still be dangerous without great armor. If two people have iron swords, they do the same damage to you.
How long they're alive is want makes one more dangerous than another, which also depends on your weapon.
If some one has better armor they'll take longer to kill so they have more chances to hit you. So someone with iron armor and a iron sword IS more dangerous, but only because they'll last longer in a fight.

Another tip is leave some (crappy) items in chests, so people should think that no one is there. Well, nice post also.

My hot bar setup is pretty efficient, I think, well it is for me, using it since alpha, and I'm always a pretty organised person, even my inventory is organised;
1: Bow 2: Sword 3: Axe 4: Pickaxe 5: Shovel 6: Hoe 7: Compass/Map/Clock 8: Potions/food/extra 9: Food

Burn extra items, don't hoard them, its a pain in the butt if you want to craft something and you have a ton of junk in your inv

If you can destroy the items then you don't need to hoard them but if theres no fire or something else that can destroy them you have to hold on to the best items. You never end up with too many iron swords or armor so it's not that bad and you can get a flint and steel on most servers.
