Ok, let's be honest. Java sucks.

Java is a huge risk to have installed. It's easily exploited by hackers, in a similar story to Macromedia Flash. It almost seems impossible to run Minecraft mods without it, right? Well, guess what: you can run mods without Java! Heres How:

The Main Tutorial

At the Forge website, there should be a large panel on the left displaying different Minecraft versions. Click the version you play on. A drop-down menu should appear, and it gives you to option to click on what sub-version you want to install Forge to. Click whatever you play. Next, you should see a box near the middle of the screen. Click the latest version's installer. NOT the WIndows installer. Install this file into the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\re-x64\1.8.0_25\bin Next direct your cursor down to Cortana, and type in: cmd. Open the first thing that comes up. Type in "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\re-x64\1.8.0_25\bin" then "java -jar <insert Forge installer file-name here>.jar" This will run the Forge installer. It's pretty self-explanatory, so I'm not going to tell you how to run through that.

Well, that must have been way too confusing for you, and I agree, but it works! Please give this post a diamond as I need recognition as I am a clout chasing zombie with a supreme shirt. (Don't take that for real that was a joke don't kill me.) Anyway, thanks for reading.

(Next up in this series is how to install mods yourself, with a handy little PvP mod folder as extra content.)

Yeah, but the point of this is to get around java because it can be used to harm your computer. Did you even read the whole thing, my dude?

Sure, but anything can be used for malicious intents. Almost anything that is downloaded can have malicious intents! Plus, don't worry. Java is installed on over 2 billion devices worldwide. I'm sure it is at least somewhat safe.

Yes, I agree many things have some danger to them, but you might as well stay away from using potentially dangerous programs anyway. Just for security.
