Hello I am Cursed- and today we are talking about Typhon, who in case you didn't know in greek mythology, is 'the father of all monsters' and , personally that does seem a little weird, I mean all monsters, wasn't kronos a monster and born from Uranus (the greek deity not...)? Okay enough burning ancient deities lets get to the actual thing. Also before I start, please subscribe for the sake of anarchy and chaos because I need to level up to do stuff, post more about the rebellion etc. etc. now let's get to the spooky stuff >:P

Monster uncoverings: Typhon

Yeah Typhon, not a guy you've probably heard of huh? Well lets dig more into him and his role in monsterology and greek mythology (also apparenly monsterology is a word, huh) Here is a little clip I got from this website:

The “Father of all Monsters”. Typhon was the last child of Gaia, fathered by Tartarus, and is considered the most powerful and deadliest of all creatures in Greek mythology. His appearance would be accompanied by a devastating storm and his true form was thus hard to be described accurately. Some say he had a human-like upper half and others that instead of one head he had a hundred dragon heads.

His bottom half consisted of gigantic viper coils which made a hissing noise. He had huge wings and fire flashed from his eyes. Typhon was a monster that even the Olympians were afraid of. His mate was Echidna (see below), with whom he fathered many famous monsters of Greek mythology. Together, they once attacked the Olympian Gods but lost. Zeus, the King of the Olympians, confronted Typhon by throwing 100 lightning bolts on him and trapped him under Mount Etna in Sicily.

As we can see here he was one of the last 'titans' if we can call him this. It is stated that he is accompanied by a storm, which whether we can identify his surroundings as a storm or a wall of fury and hell is up to you I guess, And obviously he isn't the prettiest sight to look at. And we can see he is accompanied by large animals that could easily be identified as beasts: Snakes, A bull, & a lion. Well this guy seemed like he came from the underworld that;s for sure.

And it is very clear he was feared as it states very clearly: Typhon was a monster that even the Olympians were afraid of

And this guy was tough, 100 lightning bolts, yikes.
But what purpose did he serve?!

He was the youngest son of Gaea (Gaea was basically mother earth)
Another quick snip I got was:
Typhon, also spelled Typhaon, or Typhoeus, in Greek mythology, youngest son of Gaea (Earth) and Tartarus (of the nether world). He was described as a grisly monster with a hundred dragons’ heads who was conquered and cast into the underworld by Zeus. In other accounts, he was confined in the land of the Arimi in Cilicia or under Mount Etna or in other volcanic regions, where he was the cause of eruptions. Typhon was thus the personification of volcanic forces. Among his children by his wife, Echidna, were Cerberus, the three-headed hound of hell, the multiheaded Lernean Hydra, and the Chimera. He was also the father of dangerous winds (typhoons)
(snip came from this website)

Okay so we can see that was confined in a volcano (please remind me how that was a good idea) And ooo fun fact he was the father of typhoon, who in case, you didn't know, is literally what we conceive it to be, dangerous winds.

I do believe he played contribute in the great war against the olympians and gods, and as you probably know the gods won

YES THIS WAS A GIANT TRAP FOR A FREE HISTORY LESSON MWAHAHA
(I will legitimately be posting more 'authentic' investigations but this guy didn't get much oh, well ALSO ALL ART NOT MADE BY ME)
