Hello Fellow Members of PMC! :)
Today, Im bringing you a suggestion and thought blog! Because I love to share my thoughts and ideas to the world, and see what others think of them.
So, today I'm blogging about animals, and the savannah biome. Recently at school we have been studying animals and stuff. We watched a documentary on animals in the savannah, and It really inspired me to post a blog about it, and that the savannah biome should have more critters, and hostile mobs. I'll be explaining them individually, lets gets started...
Meerkat:
These small, little, cute creatures will be scattered around the biome of savannah, mainly in gangs of 3-5. Meerkats often work as a team to play, as well as hunt for food.
In the game, meerkats will be about the same size of a silver fish, just taller. They do not attack you in any matter, even if you punch them.
Lion:
Often in groups of 3-5 as well, these lions will be aggressive, especially if you disturb it in any way, if you leave it alone, the lions will not care. But it you threaten them, the whole gang will kill you. About the same size as a cow, but slightly bigger. They run about the same speed as a player with speed I sprinting. Each hit dealt by the lion, deals 3-4 hearts, as well as the cheetah.
Cheetah:
These are no friends, they run at extreme speeds impossible for a player to outrun. If you distract it, it will bolt at you at fast speeds, so don't bother running, try digging a small place underground, or towering up. Or if you want to, take it on in a duel. When they hit you they jump on you like a spider, this applies for the lion too. They will do about 3-4 hearts every hit if you aren't wearing any armour.
Hippo:
Mainly by the banks of the savannah, these giant, grey monsters will be chilling out. Mainly just hanging out in the water, but sometimes on land. If you threaten one, they will kill you. Hippo's are extremely strong and tough, so don't even bother facing them on. They will do about 5 hearts a hit without armour protection.
Giraffe:
These giraffes are huge, about the same body size as a lion, with a long neck. Mainly feed of the leaves in the tall acacia trees. They can get aggravated if you annoy it, so stand back and let it relax. They run about the same speed as a player sprint jumping. So it's hard to outrun it, but it's hard to caught up by it. Each hit deals about 3 hearts from the giraffe, so if you can strafe it well enough, killing it won't be too much of a challenge.
Elephant:
Okay, elephants are huge. Mainly they are seen with a group, sometimes there will be babies, along with the above. Elephants will get scared of silverfish. If you don't disrupt, they won't attack. They will just hang around. If you hit one, get the hell out. Because these things will be fast. and you can be crushed by them. Each hit deals about 4-5 hearts. So be prepared.

The problem is, adding more mobs would lag a lot of peoples' Minecrafts.
