This is my Minecraft mod idea for the Minedea contest.

More weather mod

My mod idea is to have more weather added into Minecraft.

The mod would add: seasons(different in each biome),More variations on snow+rain,flooding and snow-ins.

Seasons

Seasons would change every 40 Minecraft days from winter,spring,summer and autumn.Each season would change the characterstics of the leaves and grass. In autumn animals would be harder to find and you could find nuts buried underground.

Rain/Snow

Also included in the mod would be different variations on rain and snow. For example you would have heavy rain and light rain (same for snow).



Flooding+Snow-ins

If you are unfortunate enough to get a heavy dose of rain/snow there is a possibility that you could be snowed in or flooded. After a couple of days the snow or floodwaters will receed and finally dissapear.



So thats my idea!
