MPServ is a legally registered company in the United States, it has been running since mid 2011 and is driven to provide the best service possible, on the fastest servers on the market. It is run by David, Jono, Dave and Roy. Each of these individuals are fantastic, they are nice people and are happy to talk to you or answer any of your problems. If you purchase a server from MPServ you can choose from 5 locations; Los Angeles LA, New York City NY, Chicago IL, Seattle WA, and London UK. The customer chat is an excellent addition to MPServ. It is simple and hassle free, allows you to speak with the MPServ staff which rank is [MP] the volunteer helpers which rank is [Bro] & [Sis] and last but not least the other customers. Here you can ask questions about your server, MPserv, or anything else you're having trouble with. I've even seen the staff help with a small homework question, it really is a nice community.
Here you can see the simplicity and helpfulness of the chat, this is located on every page of their control panel at the bottom of the page so you can see it wherever you are!
Wrench... this is definitely the best control panel I've seen and used, it is made by MPServ and is the only company to use it. It allows you to do so much more than the stock control panels such as Multicraft.
It comes with a MySQL database, free 1 month BuyCraft coupon and a free 45 days for Enjin websites due to their unique friendships with these other companies.
Straight from the console you can install a jar of Vanilla Minecraft, Bukkit, Tekkit or FTB Modpack. If none of these interest you can also install your own jars manually. Another good feature of Wrench is that it allows you to select how many slots you'd like on your server, so you're not paying for the amount of slots when you rent the server. However if you've got a small spec server with 1000's of slots and players it will obviously lag a lot.

MPServ's support tickets are absolutely great, you can submit a ticket with the following subjects
- Billing - Questions related to how you're billed and your payments.
- Technical Support - Support for things like server problems.
- Sales Questions - This is for pre-sales questions only, don't send anything to this department if you already have a service.
- Abuse - If someone on the networks is abusing, then let them know here!
Now, I don't know very much about hardware and computers.. so I got this from their website. But what I do know is, from a great experience, their servers don't lag! :) These specs are just an example from one of their computers.

However in my opinion, if you were to go to a cheaper host that'll probably have a stock control panel and bad customer support this extra few pounds is definitely worth it. For me I think a good staff-to-customer relationship is essential.
