Hello everyone there :D. Today in my brains came in very great idea. About compactible minecraft versions. Maybe i spelt word compactible wrong. But anyways here is my idea. And small story how this idea came into my brains.
So i am playing at one very cool and popular medieval server. Then minecraft asked do i want to update my minecraft to 1.5 i clicked yes and it updated my version. But sadly i didn't read medieval server i am playing on will be 1.4.7 version only while craft bukkit will be updated to 1.5 and i needed to wait alot of days and today it got updated for luck. Well everything was normal in my town. I just needed to wait long time and on that time 2 players left from my town. Because i got this idea. Now hear.
Did you even updated your version to newest minecraft version but one of your favorite server needed to wait while new version craft bukkit will be released? And you needed to wait long time? And maybe something bad happened to your base or town? And you didn't wanted to down grade version down because new version is cool too or needable for you? If so, then my idea will be interesting for you :).
Well i think when you update your minecraft to newest version you will be able to connect with those servers who is on previos version. But when you join to servers with older version with your new version minecraft will disable all new version features in that server for you, but you will be able to reach every previos version servers with newer version. Only newest versions features will be disabled on that server. It will be great way how to update your minecraft and play on servers who need to wait for newest craft bukkit or something other.
